My home is in the Dallas area, where I live with my husband and two dogs. I have two sons, one of which lives in the area, and the other in Los Angeles. I love to read and write many different types of stories. My favorites are murder mysteries and romances. I like the way reading builds bridges to other worlds which only my imagination can take me. At a time when I was reading voraciously, but not getting exactly what I was yearning for, I started to write the kind of stories I was searching for. Putting my own words to paper is so much fun that I always find time to not only read, but also write.

A serial killer is loose and flight attendant Claire Hunt is questioned in connection to the first murder as she falls for Detective Nick Ryan. They begin an affair during the investigation. As the investigation continues signs point to Claire being intimately involved in the murders. Is she innocent as Nick hopes or such a good actress she can cover up her actions?I liked the mystery of the story. It was well planned out. It creeped me out as I read the murderer's thoughts. I did not have any idea who it was until the end. I thought I had it several times but I was wrong. The romance moved very fast. Claire and Nick's conversations at the beginning were stilted. There was not a smooth flow in the beginning. As the story moved along with the murder becoming more central to the book the conversation and the actions, both romantic and suspenseful, evened out and the writing flowed. I liked this book and will read more of Catherine Sharp. I like her writing style.
