    Just Judgment - Robert Marr

    Preface

In most languages, personal names have a meaning. In the ancient Hebrew language, every letter corresponds to a numerical equivalent (A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc.).

Let’s take a look at the genealogy of Adam through Seth to Noah and then we will compare it to Adam’s other line through Cain to Lamech. This list comes from Genesis chapters 4 and 5. On the left is the name of the person with their name’s meaning and below is their son. Adam had three sons (Cain, Abel, Seth) that we know about. Since Cain killed Abel, the expectation of living righteously passed to Seth.

    Seth’s Lineage

    Adam - mankind was

    Seth - appointed to

    Enosh - weakness and

    Kenan - sorrow yet we

Mahalalel - praise the blessed God who

    Jared - descended to earth

Enoch - to be dedicated in order

Methuselah - that His death will bring

    Lamech - greatly despairing

    Noah - for quiet rest

    Cain’s Lineage

    Adam - mankind

    Cain - acquires then

    Enoch - is dedicated and

    Irad - sequester one’s self

Mehujael - and is smitten by God

Methushael - posing as a man of God

    Lemech - greatly despairing

Tubal Cain - in the likeness of Cain

The two realms of existence (flesh vs. spirit - life vs. death - generosity vs. greediness -depraved conscience vs. responsible conscience) throughout creation are clearly evident in these genealogies of Adam. Because mankind shared the same language as Genesis 11 says, then it was very clear in the pre-flood world what they were living for.

Pose as a man of God like evil Cain attempted to be by building cities and monetary systems to exercise control and enforce a religious system over his own descendants or humbly submit to Yehovah and His ways and the plan of salvation and restoration over evil which He spoke of when Adam and Eve were being banished from Paradise.

Evil manifested through Cain and later through Ham was brought about by masquerading angels who lusted after Yehovah’s authority and the daughters of Adam. Therefore, they revealed secrets of heaven, i.e., ways of seducing men by physical pleasure, warfare, and technology first to Cain and his lineage and reignited these seductive deceptions after the flood through Ham.

Behold the sovereignty of the Creator revealed in His Word. He is unmatched, incomparable, beyond human wisdom, who says the nations are a drop of water in a bucket, and who uses the foolishness of men to confound the sophistication of manmade institutions.

For the LORD Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth. Psalm 47:2

Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You. Jeremiah 10:7

"Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it. Deuteronomy 10:14

"You alone are the LORD You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them You give life to all of them and the heavenly host bows down before You. Nehemiah 9:6

Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created. Revelation 4:11

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. Isaiah 40:22

Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. Psalms 135:6

"All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, He does according to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can save from His hand or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’ Daniel 4:35

"I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.

    Job 42:2

Even from eternity I am He, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it? Isaiah 43:13

"Were He to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him, ‘What are You doing?’ Job 9:12

"Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. 1 Chronicles 29:12

John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. John 3:27

See now that I, even I am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever. If I wet my glittering sword, and my hands take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my enemies, and will reward them that hate me." Deuteronomy 32:39–41

Who is like you LORD among the mighty? Who is like you glorious in holiness, to be praised with fear, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11

Now let the Scriptures demonstrate how Yehovah the Creator, one and only Most High God excellent in character acts toward us people:

Good and upright is Yehovah therefore He teaches sinners in the way to go.

    Psalm 25:8

For you, Yehovah, are good and ready to forgive and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you. Psalm 86:5

But you, Yehovah, are a compassionate God, showing favor, patient, and great in mercy and truthful. Psalm 86:15

He, Yehovah, satisfies your mouth will good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Psalm 103:5
