My name is Tommy Tompkins and I was born and raised in Northeast Texas. After attending College in Texas, I relocated to Alabama and met my soul mate. We are married with two beautiful daughters and enjoy life on the Gulf Coast. For the last 15-20 years I have worked as an Insurance Adjuster and Insurance Consultant. Over the years, I have also dealt with the abusive telemarketing calls that Americans are currently dealing with and decided to do something about it. My wife has witnessed my ability to take my knowledge and use it to stop the calls and she has also found the checks in the mail from these telemarketers. After many years of my wife persuading me to share this knowledge by writing a book about it, I finally took her advice. Letter from the Author

My name is Tommy Tompkins and over the past 15 years, I have studied consumer laws that were enacted by Congress to protect consumers against corporations and companies from deceptive trade practices and other transgressions. One of my favorite laws passed by Congress is the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.

Telemarketers are a common nuisance in the United States and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act was passed by Congress in an attempt to curb automated or robocalls to cellphones. I have used this legislation to put a stop to unsolicited calls over the years and also made money doing it. My wife has asked me many times, for years, why I haven’t written a book that informs other people like myself on how to take action.

I finally took her advice and put all the knowledge that I obtained over the years into an easy to read, step-by-step book, where I will show you exactly how I did it. The book you are about to read is my personal approach to stopping telemarketers from calling and also how to get them to pay you for the calls you received.
