First I thank my faithful husband Roger for the wise counsel and direction throughout the years as I continued to pursue creating this work. My spiritual Mom, Carol Morgan, deserves so much credit for all her support and encouragement to continue to pursue this endeavor. How blessed I have been by Patti Graham who has always been encouraging and loving since I began this journey in the Kingdom and to Connie Schrepfer and Wauneta Roth who have joined us along the way and been such a great support group these many years. Many, many thanks to Tom Mahugh who at various times through the years has been my boss, my pastor, my teacher, my counselor, and mentor who offered such great backing to this project. As well my pastor, Bob Ross, has probably been more of a coach to me than he knows. How thankful I am for his wi sdom.

Toplink Publishing have been like family to work with-wonderful people. This book would not be what it is without the hard work and great job they have done. Thank you so much.

I hope this won’t seem trite for it is true and of great significance to me. My thanks forever will be to my Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit Who has been the instigator, the inspirer, the coach, and enabler to complete this. You are always so wonderful and faithful and I thank You and love You forever and give You all glory. Be exalted.

    About The Author

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

    Revelation 1:3

    Introduction

I was sitting at my desk working on my Master’s thesis when Someone said, Read your Bible. I turned around but no one was there. I wondered if I even had a Bible so was surprised when I scanned the bookshelf behind me and saw the Bible I had received at my baptism when I was eight. By my junior year at the university, I had traded in my Christian beliefs for scientific research and had not remembered having my Bible in recent years. Perhaps on her last visit my Mom brought it and placed it on the shelf without telling me, hoping or praying for a miracle. Whether God or Mom, either way it got my attention.

It was the seventies at the height of the Jesus movement. Many including myself were brought back to the Lord as supernatural experiences accompanied the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It was a time when expectation was high of the Lord’s soon return. Hal Lindsey’s book, The Late Great Planet Earth, reflected what so many of us believed. There were stories of writing in the sky over Russia saying the Lord was returning soon. Or another was of a hitchhiker that had been picked up and said the Lord was returning soon and then disappeared into thin air.

I was very interested in the mystery of prophecies and Revelation and the return of the Lord. As the years went by I continued studying the Bible and many other resources. By the time the doctrine came out of 88 reasons the Lord was returning in 1988, I knew the teaching did not align with what the Bible said. Y2K had the whole world waiting when the clock turned from 1999 to 2000 to see if all the computer systems would fail causing the world to shut down. Of course there was the thought this would trigger the beginning of the end. The Mayan calendar ending in 2012 stirred fervor of the world ending. Then the book about the four blood moons lunar tetrad of 2014-2015 coinciding with Jewish holidays clearly stated something was about to change in the fall of 2015 and many wondered if this was a sign from God. A severe warning of economic collapse imminent sometime in 2015-2016 based on historical financial downfall cycles coinciding with the Jewish Shemitah year fit in nicely with the four blood moons.

We sort of believe Jesus will come again, but to be real honest sometimes it doesn’t seem like a reality in today’s world. All the failed predictions results in the crying wolf syndrome leading us into a false security of the wolf never coming so that when he does; we are in trouble because we fail to heed the admonitions. A prime example of this happened at Pearl Harbor. When the warnings came of approaching planes, they were dismissed by those who didn’t believe the good life in Hawaii was on the verge of disaster.

Our son shared with us the book The Big Short by Michael Lewis. The author believed he saw economic disaster inevitable yet decades passed and he began to think maybe he was wrong. Most of us were surprised by the crash in 2008. Since then, the stock market has almost tripled in such a short time span. The debt in our nation has skyrocketed. Since the seventies, darkness has been covering the earth and deep darkness the people (Isaiah 60:2). Abortion, homosexuality, murder rampages, drugs, gambling, ungodliness, selfish ambition, divorce, sex slavery: not only do these abound and increase but most in the world are oblivious to it. The prayer requests I receive for Christian young people who are being overtaken with the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lust of the eyes (1 John 2:16) at times feels overwhelming: drugs being brought to church and kids having sex on the parking lot. The world has totally changed from when I grew up in the fifties and sixties.

While all this is happening, the Lord is raising up a standard. The gospel is prospering, the Holy Spirit is being poured out, and the light is increasing. Jesus said, And because lawlessness will abound the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness in all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:12-14) So Jesus said a time would come when the gospel would explode but right alongside it great darkness would flourish, just as we see happening today. Then He gave instructions about what to do when the end comes when there will be great tribulation. He said we need to be watching for the thief and know when he is about to break in. If Jesus was who He said He was and if He knew what He was talking about, then this current fifth age of grace we are now living in is going to end and we are closer now than we were a thousand years or fifty years or a day ago.

So let me ask you a question. Do you have time to read the Bible? The prophet Daniel who lived thousands of years ago was told by an angel what would happen throughout history leading up to the end of the age and then the angel said: But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. (Daniel 12:4) I take care of the accounting for an international travel company and process the thousands of airline tickets issued by just this one company alone. If I fly, I am astounded at all the people running to and fro. We visit our son in California and the incessant traffic, no matter what time of day, is just a small amount of the traffic in every city throughout the world. I see young families so overloaded with both parents working and trying to raise children and commuting hours a day. Every retired person I have ever talked to tells me they are busier than they have ever been. The world is like a wound up spring rushing at a frenetic pace. The increase in knowledge is beyond my scope to keep up with.

Why I ask if you have time to read your Bible is because if we are about to transition to the new age, you need to know what God has revealed to us. Yet how do we find the time when we are always running to and fro? And it is for this reason I have written this little book. It is to help you in this fast paced world to review what the Bible says by reading scriptures for yourself alongside fictional depictions of what life looks like consistent with what the Bible says and renewing your mind to an eternal perspective. If the Bible is true, then something like what is contained in this book will come to pass. It is just a question of when and there is strong scriptural evidence pointing to these things very possibly occurring in our lifetime. Biblical prophesies relating to the end of this present age will take a few more years to be fulfilled and the world will continue to carry on business as usual for most people until the day the Lord returns. It will be similar to Hitler’s Germany. People were going to work and kids to school and life was good while the smoke from the gas chambers rose over the hill. When the end does come many will be deceived into thinking life will always go on as it has, since no wolf has come. This is what Jesus predicted: But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Matthew 24:37-39

Events imagined in this book are not meant to be suggesting these things will actually happen as portrayed. Some events may someday happen resembling what is depicted. However, the purpose of this book is not to foretell what is coming and when: although you may get that idea when you read it. Rather this story is a vehicle to:

Help you read the Bible for yourself in an interesting and thought provoking format

Better equip you to avoid crying wolf or becoming deceived

Present the major Biblical prophetic pieces of the puzzle in a way that fits together consistently.

The End Of The Age Of Grace will take you on a journey through mankind’s history as you actually read what the Bible says alongside a fictional story that portrays a picture of how these things have and will be lived out. You will gain understanding of what Revelation and related prophecies reveal to us. You will have access to over forty years of research evaluating
