Boy Jesus - Katheryn Maddox Haddad

    1 ~ Protected

A few 1000s of years have passed since God first promised Adam and Eve he would come and be king of his people in person and help them live forever in heaven. People prayed and prayed for God to come be their king. Such a long time to wait.

A few 100s of years of kings in the Kingdom of Isra-el have come and gone.  People still prayed for God to come be their king. They waited and they waited and they waited.

Finally, at long last, the Son of God was born so he could become their king someday. But most people did not know who he was.  He was dis-guised as a little boy.

After a few leaps with James, here came 4-year-old half-sister Sa-lo-me.

Jesus, would you play hide-and-seek with me?

Ha, ha, Jesus said. James has been kicking me in the head every time he leaped over me. Thank you for res-cu-ing me, little sister.

Hey, where did you go, Jesus? You went too fast," Sa-lo-me called out.

You can’t catch me, Jesus teased from behind a large basket.

Yes, I can. Yes, I can.

Sa-lo-me tagged Jesus and he came out laughing. Then 2-year-old half-brother Jo-seph Junior
