A Note from the Authors
And certainly We have made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, but is there anyone who will mind?
Qur’an 54:17
The Holy Qur’an is a guide book for all areas of life, teaching us practical lessons such as how to control our anger, or to be patient for example.
How great would it be if we, as families, could learn at least some of these Holy verses and apply them in our daily situations. This would be a big step in helping our children to understand the Holy Book and apply it in their lives, therefore utilising the Qur’an for what it is meant for.
In this series of short stories, meet a Muslim family who try to do exactly that. Follow the adventures of Maryam (3 years), Muhammad (6 years) and Fatima (8 years) as they try their best to learn and apply simple but effective Qur’anic verses in their daily lives.
We hope you and your families enjoy reading about them, as much as we have enjoyed writing about them!
At the end of the book are some tips and suggestions parents and teachers can use to help children in their quest to memorise verses and chapters from the Qur’an. We pray that you find this useful InshaAllah.
We pray this book will build love and a strong bond between your children and the Holy Qur’an, and therefore, with the Almighty.
