    FADE IN:

    EXT. MOUNTAIN EARLY MORNING

We see two-toned bodies covered in sweat running up the hillside. DAVID DICEN, 30s, tall and lean, handsome in a good ole boy kind of a way. ALLEY, 30s, his wife of three years. She’s petite, with a dancers body and a smile as bright as the sun.

    DAVID

Come on, you’re slowing me down.

Alley digs deep. She pushes her hair from her face.

    ALLEY

    Slow down.

He slows his pace. He bends over to take a little break. Alley catches up. She leans on him, placing all of her weight on him. They fall to the ground. He pulls her close. They play fight.

    DAVID

    I love you so much.

    ALLEY

    I love you more.

    INT. HOME SHOWER LATE MORNING

David and Alley make passionate love, their hands explore each other’s bodies. They kiss deep and hard, she loves him with all that is she. David feels the same way for her.

    INT. HOME BEDROOM MINUTES LATER

David stands in front of the full-length mirror looking his self over. The Navy blue suit doesn’t look any different than the other dozen or so blue suits he has hanging in the giant walk in closet.

    DAVID

    How does this tie look?

Alley looks up from her magazine, she shakes her head.

    DAVID (CONT’D)

    I didn’t think so either.

He pitches the tie. He looks for a new one. He stops at his watchcase. He has nothing but the best. He picks up the Rolex, places it on his wrist, it doesn’t look right to him, he settles for a Cartier, automatic chronograph, it has more of a classic look. Alley enters the room wearing his old Stanford tee shirt.

    DAVID (CONT’D)

You make that old shirt look really good.

    ALLEY

    I do. Don’t I?

    DAVID

    Yes.

    ALLEY

    You want to play?

He smiles, looks at his watch.

    DAVID

I would love to, but I’m late.

She does a little strip tease.

    ALLEY

You sure you can’t stay just a little longer?

David turns his head. He covers his eyes with his hands.

    DAVID

    I’m not looking.

She comes closer. She dances right in front of him. He turns his back to her. She stops dancing she sticks her bottom lip out like a child.

    ALLEY

    Okay. You can go.

    DAVID

    Thank you.

He kisses her on the top of her head.

    ALLEY

Oh, is that all that I get?

    DAVID

    It is, for now.

He grabs his briefcase from the king size bed.

    ALLEY

I’m doing lunch with the girls today.

    DAVID

    Lucky you.

EXT. FRONT OF THE HOUSE MINUTES LATER

David heads to his custom Audi RS5. He hits the remote alarm. Alley stands in the doorway.

    ALLEY

    You sure you can’t play?

David turns to answer the question. He smiles at the sight of her standing there naked.

    DAVID

You’re making it hard for me to say no.

    ALLEY

Is that the only thing I’m making hard?

    DAVID

    Alley?

    ALLEY

    Your lost.

She slowly closes the door. David shakes his head.

    DAVID

    Wow.

    I/E. CAR MINUTES LATER

We see his Audi RS5 speeding thru traffic, he moves in and out with ease, classic soul plays on the deck, he sings along.

His cell rings, which automatically fades the music so he can speak hands free.

    DAVID

    Dicen.

    ALLEY

You sure you can’t come back home so we can play a little more?

    DAVID

    Alley. You know I can’t.

    ALLEY

I’m just calling to let you know I’m going to be late tonight.

    DAVID

    Okay.

    ALLEY

You’re not even going to ask why?

    DAVID

    I’ll bite.

    ALLEY

    Forget it.

    DAVID

    I’ll see you later tonight.

    ALLEY

    Love you.

    DAVID

    Love you more.

They’re disconnected, the music slowly returns to normal volume.

INT. WALLACE BROKERAGE DAVID’S OFFICE DAY

David sits behind a large black desk, his suit jacket hangs on a near by coat rack, his tie is slung over his left shoulder, he eats a freshly made salad while discussing the company’s latest venture.

BOB, 50s, dressed in an out dated grey suit stands at the large window. He looks out over the city.

    BOB

If this deal doesn’t happen we could be in big trouble.

David has a drink of water before answering.

    DAVID

Don’t worry. I got everything under control.

Bob turns to face David. He leans against the glass. Not so sure that David can land this big fish.

    BOB

    We’re all counting on you.

David stands, strolls over to Bob, and places his hand on his shoulder.

    DAVID

Have I ever let you down?

    Bob smiles.

    BOB

No, you haven’t, and don’t start now.

    DAVID

I assure you. I have it all
