    These are just a few of the top-ranked fears of the average American. Amazing enough, however, the number one factor is public speaking – even ahead of death.

    Yes, it can be nerve wracking to stand in front of a crowd and put yourself out there in a very public, very vulnerable position. Luckily, many others have stood in your shoes and lived to tell the tale.

    Like it or not, we are all professional speakers now. We represent our brands and our businesses each time we answer a phone, meet a client, answer an e-mail, or present to a group--to cite just a few examples.
