About this ebook

Hello, and thank you for finding the time to browse my eBook, "Out of the dark." As usual, it is crammed with short true stories with real photos of ghosts and spirits.

None of my stories are made up and no pictures of any spirits are fake. My books just goes to show how close we really are to the spirit world, and how they are willing to show themselves to us in pictures. Sometimes they even show their name too. Please enjoy my stories, but remember, these stories are always better when read at night in a low light.

I am at this moment 65 years old. I still work in a fantastic job and love it. However my big love is contacting with the spirit world, talking to those who have passed over. My first book tells it all really so I do not want to put too much here and spoil your read.I have at present no reason to stop working, though in my spare time I write about my spiritual experiences and visitations from the other side, which happen on a regular basis. I seem to be a magnet for ghosts and spiritual beings. Most nights someone in spirit visits my bedroom trying to attract my attention or trying to tell me something that I need to pass on to someone else. What I have learned over the last 25 years has turned me into a very different person, I do believe there is a God, and I now know 100% there is life after death, I have seen them. I have lost a lot of my family over the years, wife and brother included, but what I have learned about dying and where we go and how easy it is for those loved ones to get in touch has changed my views totally.Oh how far I have travelled from my days of drinking smoking clubbing and girls. I will tell you that being able to contact those in the spirit world is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. If you want to know more about true hauntings, visions I have had, ghosts and things that go bump in the night, this book tells everything I went through to be where I am now and believe me it was a tough old journey. Also true stories of others in a similar situation as myself. These stories have never been printed before, the photos of real spirits have never been seen. If you get scared easily this book may well give you some sleepless nights. My second book, "A Walk on Spirit Street" is out now. Again a book crammed with true stories and photos of real hauntings and spiritual visitors. Over 18s only. My face book name is, `Spookybooks` should you want a peek at my Face book page.

Out of the Dark - Spooks

    Introduction

    Over 18s only

Welcome once again to my world. The world of the unexplained and supernatural happenings. This is my 7th book and I hope I will continue with my spiritual journey for as long as I’m able to press the keys on my computer. Once again, this book just like the others, is full of true short stories, most with real photos of real spiritual activity, hauntings and scary times for some people. It doesn’t matter if you are a believer or not, these stories will leave you open mouthed and wondering about our ghostly visitors.

I write in quite a simple way so everyone can understand what I am trying to say. There are many people who want to understand this subject and find it hard, because some authors use words and phrases they don’t understand. I am from a simple schooling background so it makes it easy for me too!

I do have a large list of people I send copies of my new books to; this is so I can get some feedback about my books before I publish them. I would like to just clear that up. These people have read my books, but for free and have provided valuable reviews! So, if you are in the mood for a few spooky stories, then read on. But as I always say, these books are always best read in bed on your own late at night.

    Bodmin jail

Bodmin jail is known all over the world for its ghostly goings on. It is in Bodmin, Cornwall, UK. Thank you to Bodmin jail for the permission to use their pictures.

Bodmin jail was built in 1779 by prisoners of war and was used as a jail for 150 years. There were over 50 public hangings in its time and it was said to be the first ever jail to use separate cells for prisoners. The last person to be hanged from this jail was in 1909. It was known to attract up to 2500 people to watch public hangings. Life was harsh in the jail and sometimes their crimes were as simple as stealing an apple or some grain, but then they suffered badly for their crime inside the jail.

Many people from all over the world have visited Bodmin jail over the years. Most with cameras at the ready in a hope to capture a ghost of the past on film. I believe many have captured strange things on their cameras. Others have been touched, pushed and spoken to in dark rooms.

I was looking at the first picture in this story of Bodmin jail; it was taken by Bodmin jail site themselves and put on Twitter. I had a feeling, I needed to look deeper into the darkness of the photo, so I did, and this is what I captured. Look at the bottom centre of this photo.

There is an old man coming through the wall and carrying what looks like a lantern hanging from his right hand. I’m guessing it is not a prisoner carrying a lantern. There is also the name Jack spelled out and I have circled it in red. This is the third time in one month I have had a name spelled out to me in a picture. But if you look closer, there is a man climbing over the top of the wall above him. Maybe the man with the lantern is there to help him escape?

As I searched more though the picture, there were more spirits being shown to me. I guess many prisoners would risk everything to escape from the prison. Life was so bad that they even risked their lives. Because if they had been caught, which many were, they would most certainly have been hanged.

Here is another snippet taken from the main picture of the jail. Here you can see the spirits of several prisoners’ heads looking over the wall.

Then I found this one. This looks like a lady in a cloak. She has a hood up and there is a man in the room with her.

I read a prostitute called Hannah Jory was jailed at Bodmin for crimes of theft and drunkenness in 1839. She was left in there for several
