This is an Angel with attitude, an Angel with a receding hairline and hobnailed boots, an Angel who begrudgingly helps Molly in and out of various scrapes - scrapes that involve wooden dogs, mer-children, water monsters, you name it - the Angel raises an eyebrow in exasperation and attempts to deal with it.

Molly never sees the Angel, so she is unaware of the help that the Angel gives her throughout her journey.

The journey is a learning curve and a great adventure, as much for Molly as for the Angel.
