Chapter 1
Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, and if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take. Amen!
Alright kiddos, time for bed.
Now we’ve sang a song, read you guys a story and said our prayers. I don’t want to hear anything else come from this room tonight. Okay?
Ok! Love you mom, love you dad. Goodnight!
It was like any other night; mom and dad put us to bed. My brothers and I lie in bed trying our best to fall asleep but as usual we couldn’t.
Hi, I’m Braylon! I am 11 years old and the oldest of my two brothers: Brian is seven and Blake is four. We absolutely hate bedtime, ever since my family moved into our new home. This house is huge, and mom and dad’s room is all the way on the other end of the house so even when we call them, they can’t hear us most of the time. Me and my brothers absolutely hate it here! There are no kids around for us to play with. In our old neighborhood there were kids in almost every house on the block. I wish we could move back but dad says this move was better for our family.
I have my own room, but Brian and Blake share a room. We have a bathroom between our rooms, when both bathroom doors are open we can see into each other’s rooms. So, we positioned our
