CHAPTER 1

It was a beautiful wedding, not long and boring but short and quick down by the pond at the hotel where we were staying.

The ones who got married were my wife’s old friends from school, whom I never had met before today.

Why we were at the wedding? My wife, Deborah, was at the wedding party as one of the maids, or whatever it is called.

I am not big into those things, we got married in Vegas ourselves. I
