Curved glass is split into panels

each holds a pair of hearts

    one big

    one small

    dappled red and beating

I notice his lashes have grown,

his eyes are bluer, he’s got a new tooth.

sees himself in the corner of the screen,

beams and waves, looks back up at his dad.

We swap news of our fingertip family.
