About this ebook
The aim in writing this poetry book is to give hope to the world that traumatized by the global pandemic. As the poems unfold, it calms with the message of hope and praying lyrics. The poems also highlight the theme of really struggle in lockdown political, economical and social.
Example of the taste of my poems thus follow below:
Evil ghost covid-19
When I attacked the city of China, i was unseen.
Some say I started when the Chinese scientist coughed in lab.
Others say I am the son of the bat flu.
But nobody really knows me.
I am the evil ghost, I am the monster.
My surname is the silent killer.
I am not the holy ghost from heaven.
I am abrupt virus that kill human cells.
Everyone is quaritine in their houses, because there is evil ghost out there that make breathing like hell.
Wise mask is a salvation, sanitizer is a precaution.
Never take me for granted.
I am the evil ghost!
I am the monster!
My surname is the silent killer!

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We sincerely pass our gratitude to the following committed people for the incredible support they provided to us on this poetry writing journey to convey a message of hope to the hopeless and be a voice of reason for an unreasonable season; those who were standing behind us throughout our journey until we reached our first of many destinations.
I, Adolph Ubisi, my acknowledgements are directed to Effort Ubisi my brother, and Rhulani Mathebula my cousin.
I, Petrus Phaweng would like to say many thanks to Kefiloe Modiga (ngwana wa dikoti marameng) my girlfriend, Rachel Phaweng my sister and MLP members from TUT Pretoria Campus and Mr Phasha M.O the chairperson of student fellowship, TUT Pretoria Campus.
We would also like to convey our greatest gratitude to our hero, Mzwakhe Mbuli, for inspiring us to follow poetry melodies and now pursuing a poetry career.
INTRODUCTION
The main idea in writing these poems is to create a comfortable environment for people as we are now living with features of fear and being embodied in a cream of uncertainties and instabilities. Covid-19 has exposed our inequalities and naked them, so through its barometer we can measure the huge gap between the poor and the rich, the privileged and underprivileged. These shocking revelations of Corona need to be addressed across the spectrum and beyond the edge, but the question is how should they be addressed? The analogy of this string of poems intends to address these revelations in a conscious manner through art as the home of consciousness with poetry at the centre. Holistic awareness is what we want to deliver to the readers of this anthology.
Poetry unlike music hit straight to the soul, as it possesses artistic pushing forces of hitting both in the soul and the heart simultaneously so. We really want the society to absorb the pressure of Covid-19 with more holistic awareness that will embark on their lives and also to make the society aware that happiness is still alive, appreciating one another in this blowing wind of Covid is still important as symbols of sense of belonging inrevelations humanity in principled to our beautiful Africanism culture of diverse nations.
This anthology is artistically provoking and ultimately needs the spirit of consciousness and humanity as to gain
