本書為記念愛新覺羅‧溥儇(金子弢)先生逝世卅周年而著。先生於1929年在武當山向龍門派第十六代李合林學得“武當太乙五行擒撲二十三式”這一道家武功,並於75高齡的1981年受武當山轄區的湖北均縣體委之邀,傳教此功的套路。限於多方原因,先生在此功的全面性、系統化、理論性這三方面做得不盡完美。本書將此功的基本功、基本動作、套路動作要領等整理編輯,使之成為既含功法又有功理的指導之作,以彌補先生當年之不足。本書欠缺之處,在於此拳路的招式應用之介紹過於簡單。本書之上篇,展示先生生前親、直傳的“二十三式”之精華內容;下篇的第八章,再現了在平凡人生中富有傳奇色彩的修煉人——金子弢先生真實的一面。

是後來取的名。
據先生告知,這是用照相技術合成的藝術照片。照片中的二人,就是金先生本人。照片原始尺寸:13cm×10cm。
According to the Chinese letters under the picture,the photo was made at a photo studio in Nanching (南京)1949 ,Tao Kinghsi (Aisin Gioro•Fuhuan ) was at the age of 43. The two peoples were Mr. Kinghsi his self. I received this photo on 1983. Two years after,Mr. Kinghsi passed away.

This is the front and the back covers of the book of Wutang-taiyi Five-element Fist,the first edit by Hubei People’s Press in October 1982. The person with the red T-shirt in the picture of the front cover is Master Kinghsi. The background of the picture is the Purple Heaven Temple of 1981.

This is the cover page of the book. This book is a gift Mr. Kinghsi gave me in 1983. For the Chinese,the stamp is akin to signatures in the West. The six red stamps are the personal stamps of Mr. Kinghsi.

These are the various pictures in the book of Wutang-taiyi Five-element Fist. In the upper picture of the left page,Mr. Kinghsi was climbing the Purple Heaver Peak (紫霄峰) with some people. The other name is the Sky Pillar Peak [天柱峰])in the Wutang Mountains. It is 1,613 meters (10 miles) above sea level. The lower left one,Master Kinghsi (with the red T-shirt) was demonstrating the forms of Taoist martial arts at the flat ground of the Purple Heaver Peak. In the upper right photo,Mr. Kinghsi was talking with Priest Huang of Taoism at the front of the Purple Heaven Temple. The lower right picture is Mr. Kinghsi displaying the Taoist kungfu he had learnt from a great master at the same place that he had learnt it,which is the front of the Purple Heaven Temple 52 years ago.

This is The Afterword of the Book. The first paragraph describes and introduces the Wutang Mountains. The second paragraph is the simple situation of Master Kinghsi. The third paragraph is about the history of his style of martial arts. The fourth paragraph on the second page is the principles pertaining to this kind of martial arts. The last two shorter paragraphs contain the expressions of thanks and the standard afterword on the book by the author.

This picture was taken in the summer of 1979. Mr. Kinghsi and I were practicing martial arts. The person holding a sword is the author himself. The lower one is Mr. Kinghsi.

The three pictures above (Fig 14,15,16) are the frames of the swordplay of Chinese martial arts. The forms of the swordplay were instructed by Mr. Kinghsi during 1974 to 1985. The pictures were taken in China,on the summer of 1979.

Fig 17 is the photo of Mr Kinghsi at age 75 in 1981. As my birthday gift,it was mailed to me from out of state by Mr Kinghsi on August 8th 1981. Fig 18 is the back of the same photo. The words had been written by Mr Kinghsi himself. The main idea in the words are: Always Together.
