rivals_chaphead1Connor hadn’t realized that the opposing team had added a new wrestler until he watched him strut out on the floor. He was nearly as tall as Connor and pretty beefy, broad shoulders, wide chest. There was something about the way he walked, it exuded confidence, a coolness that most other guys on that team didn’t have, that caught his attention. The new guy had a smug smile on his face as he made his way out onto the gym floor with the rest of his team.
Despite his formidable presence, Connor was pretty sure he could take him. So what if he had luscious dark hair and a bit of scruff on his face. The steel blue eyes that reflected the lights in the room weren’t a distraction at all. His biceps were pretty damn big too but who cared? The harder they were the harder…no, that wasn’t right. The bigger they were the harder they fell. Right. That was it. Connor would see for himself how big he was. At least that’s what he hoped.
He turned to his team captain Tyler and whispered, Hey, Ty, who’s the new dude?
You been living under rock? That’s all our campus has been talking about. He’s a transfer from somewhere down south. Name’s Ryan Dunwood.
Pfft, whatever,
Connor groaned. He gave Ryan the once over, checking out his size and shape again, his gaze lingering over his navy blue singlet and down to his thick thighs. Ryan wore kneepads and was just putting on his headgear.
Connor was one of the top varsity members in his weight class and one of the best wrestlers on the team. He was curious about where this Ryan guy stood or if he would get to wrestle him. Not that he cared. He wasn’t worried at all, or the least bit intimidated but he was sure the coach would match them together during tonight’s dual meet. Either way he got another chance to take control of some guy and he really like taking control. Liked the way it felt, liked having the other guy in his power, using his body to tie up his opponent’s body, there was just something about dominating another dude. It sent shivers through him and got his adrenalin pumping. Not a bad way to spend a Friday night.
After the entire team conferred with the coach, Connor was right. He was matched up with the new guy. He couldn’t wait. Couldn’t wait to get his arms around his torso, couldn’t wait to lock his legs around his, couldn’t wait to take him down on the mat. It was going to be glorious. He’d show him a thing or two or maybe three, if Ryan was lucky. But Connor had to be patient. He was the third match of the night and it was going to be a long night.
Tyler had the first match, Connor watched him take on one of the guys from the other team. They sized each other up like predators, circling and stalking before locking in mortal combat. Tyler took the young guy down with a throw and Connor hollered and clapped. Watching the two of guys entwined, arms and legs locking and blocking, spinning around on the mat was almost as good as competing itself. Connor’s heart pounded in his chest and he started tapping both of his feet on the gym floor, waiting for Tyler to go for the pin.
Connor nearly popped wood when Tyler finally did, pressing his body against the other guy, forcing him down on the mat and using all of his strength to pin him, his opponent unable to get out of his grip.
Tyler won the match and Connor was probably more excited than he was. Of course, Tyler was straight and the man-to-man action didn’t hold the same thrill as it did for Connor. That was the thing about his teammates and college life
