Taxonomy
Jasmine comes under the genus Jasminum
and family Oleaceae. The family comes under the order Olealcs. According to Baker, Cooke and Duthie, the genus contains a total of 90 species and it is thus verified by other scientists. Out of all 90 species, very few species are under cultivation for the purpose of garden
