Arise Oh Africa

About this ebook
This is what you call a 'multi-faceted' book, which recognizes the troubles of Africa but seeks to inspire that she can rise above them.
It is a poetry collection book that aims to motivate all Africans and non- Africans to put an end to the existing injustices. It seeks to encourage the oppressed and previously oppressed to be comfortable in their own skin, to be proud of who they are and where they come from. It seeks to unite people of different races, to eradicate racial injustices and xenophobia.
It entails poetry that recognizes the power of women and seeks to make them realize their own worth. It seeks to fuel the dreamer with hope and power to pursue their endless possibilities.
It seeks to call us as Africans to go back to our roots of faith, where our identity is found and the belt of 'Ubuntu' that binds us together is reignited. It is to make Africans aware of the power they have, to walk in that power, and in the end inspiring others to walk in theirs.

ACKNOWLEGEMENTS
To my late grandmother Kate Nompozolo Mali, whom by her exemplary actions taught me the meaning of Ubuntu and respect for all men, whether coming from any church denomination or none at all. She respected all men with the same regard. For her love, support and consistency in preparing us for our destinies until the day she passed, may her soul rest in peace. To my late grandfather Xolile Nompozolo who made a clear display of pursuing ones dreams even though circumstances were unfavorable. Rest in peace to you man of honor. To my mother Lungelwa Nompozolo, whose love and devotion towards me and my dreams has been un-endless, her constant investment in developing me has been priority in her heart- mylove for you is immeasurable. To my friend and mentor Apostle Skenjana, who has sacrificed her life in the ministry, to build us spiritually and has been more than a mentor to me, but family and a friend. Thank you for being a rigid support system to me. To my friend and sister ZaneleVetyeka, who consistently devotes her time, love and efforts to add value in my life- you are dearly loved. To Litha Ngesi, Snazo Nompozolo, Nandipha Mbiza, who have not only been steady cheer givers but have offered me great advice and support for the course of my journey. You are highly appreciated. To all my family and loved ones, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. Your prayers, support and love do not go unnoticed. I am who I am because of you.
