PREFACE
This book was written to help individuals transform their current financial situation and to leave a legacy for the next generation. We had a vision of a society full of people who would be better positioned to look after their personal, mental and professional lives once they were equipped with the financial tools to fulfil their needs. From January 2014, we sat and worked side by side on how we could best produce a book accessible to everyone and that would allow our readers to implement the techniques required in order to achieve financial peace.
Unlike other books on finance and achieving wealth, The Path to Financial Peace is written with a step-by-step guide including eight key principles that, when applied consistently for at least a year, will help you build your finances.
The essence of the book is to give you peace of mind about your finances and provide a remedy for your financial mindset. We aim to reset the status quo so that everyone has the ability to experience life in abundance.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Dean Williams is dedicated in his mission to inspire people from all walks of life to develop their economic and personal wellbeing. Dean, an empowerment speaker, mentor, entrepreneur, volunteer and author, has transformed his reality and is determined to inspire others to do the same. Dean started his journey when he made the difficult decision to leave the corporate banking world in early 2012. With the burning desire to embrace the challenge of success for himself and others, he set up the Exclusive Visions Ltd a Business Consultancy Company. As a young, black male from Hackney, having faced many previous barriers such as being born with a visual impairment and dyslexia, he wanted to use his experience from banking and studying the art of wealth and riches to help others. What drives Dean is his passion to help people uncover their purpose in life, their why in life and how best to maximise their time. It is his main aspiration to uncover the untapped power that lays dormant in people so that they are able to leave a positive legacy for the next generation.
Mckala Mcleod works in education and has a deep love of politics and Caribbean history. Her passion is to write books on topics of identity and personal development. In her spare time, Mckala has volunteered for a number of charities for young people that are dedicated to raising personal and academic aspirations. Although her background is in teaching and humanities, Mckala undertook the challenge of writing The Path to Personal Financial Peace because of her desire to help inspire economically and financially responsible future generations. She hopes to complete a PhD in social science very soon in order to help uplift and empower individuals through books and seminars.

POWER EQUATION
Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom. Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power. If you realise that you have enough, you are truly rich.
