INDUSTRY INSIGHTS
I’ve owned my dental practice for 14 years and have always marketed my practice internally and externally. I try to create unique marketing ideas, sometimes even ideas that are outside the box. So when selfie sticks came onto the market, I ordered several dozen that were personalized with my practice name, and used them as an incentive when patients gave me a Google review.
Dr. Len Tau heard about the selfie sticks, and reached out to tell me there were better ways to get tons of Google reviews without bribing patients. I listened but did not make a move until a short time later. I ran into Len at The Chesapeake Dental Conference in Ocean City, Maryland.
