About this ebook
It all started with a virus that spread through the Earth, it was an uncontrollable pandemic. A slightly more virulent flu was called. Governments closed borders, not too many people were infected and died, the world economy stopped for a long time... That was not the biggest problem.

Space Zombie - Don Nieve
1. FULL MOON
LAURA, ROBERTO AND ANNE run naked among the trees, inside a forest and the blackness in which the night surrounds them. Although it is all dark, the moonlight provides enough light to distinguish the outlines and faces of the runners when it slips through the branches of the thick, tall trees. They don't seem to be competing and it doesn't look like some kind of erotic game either. They look anxiously around as they run, helping and supporting each other.
They run completely naked, barefoot. Bumps with weeds and stones leave thick scratches on their skin that can barely be seen through all the dirt on them. They run and run. The air that comes out of their mouths is a product of the cold that surrounds them. They stop for a few seconds to rest, regroup and continue again. They are sheltered behind some large rocks.
Although the intense cold doesn't hold them back, they don't have time to try to warm up. The naked and athletic bodies of their partners do not distract them with sexual desire. On the contrary, it seems difficult that the libido will have passed through the stench, the dirt, and the conditions to which they are submitted. The long hairs partially cover their faces. Roberto's scruffy beard shakes when, with exorbitant eyes, emits strange guttural sounds and makes gestures to his partners. Laura takes shelter in Roberto's arms, very frightened; Anne seems more dynamic and assertive, looking at both sides with a fierce gesture.
wwuuuaaaajjjggghhh...!
A strange sound is heard in the distance. Like the sound of beings drooling, hissing, breathing heavily and trying to make some comprehensible sound. Immediately the group of three is paralyzed, bending their heads even more and trying to sharpen their hearing. The blood and wounds on the feet, the color of the hair, and the features of the faces, can hardly be distinguished by the accumulated dirt of what seems a long time without having had a proper toile-
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!!
Oh my God! Something even more terrible shook the three helpless runners for a moment, and they stood very close together again, sticking their heads into the small group and trying to be invisible. They appear to be fugitives.
The large set of rocks on which they stand, forms a bit of a step, giving continuity to the descent of a hill. There, on top of it, a pair of sinister beings make their appearance. From the sound of their cries you would think they were barking, that they were dogs, but it is not so. Their menacing red eyes glow in the moonlight, framed by huge black heads with pointed ears... They are similar to wolf dogs in many ways, especially in the huge, drooling jaws that they open from time to time, licking their sharp fangs. But it cannot be said that they belong to the dog family at all, as their bodies are larger and more rounded, full of thick spines like those of an enormous porcupine. The tail of these beings is like that of a beaver, provided with hard and powerful thorns, like those of a monstrous hedgehog.
These infernal dogs stick their heads out, wrinkling their noses, snarling, and sniffing the air. The most frightening thing is, they are held by big leather chains; held by a... human?
The subject in question is enormous; powerful because of the way he holds these strange animals and they respect him. He's wearing a strange dark suit, like a biker's, with gloves and a helmet. But the helmet is not round like that of a biker, nor is it military or astronaut cut... it is as if it were longer in the part of the ears and the mouth. The eye area has a dark band as a screen where you see strange symbols of red phosphorous dancing. His gestures are slow and rhythmic, sinister. The individual raises his left hand and gestures to the side, lifting the gloved index finger. And there, on his left, a second individual remained static, camouflaged by darkness. He also looks the same, the only difference being that, although he is still huge, his hips are more curved and wide. The individual does not nod or say anything; the same strange red symbols begin to flash on his helmet visor. He slowly turns around and a strange, intense blue, phosphorescent flame lights up next to him. This light comes from the head of a thick, strange cane he is holding in his right hand. The individual goes into the blackness of the forest, to meet those sibilant and threatening beings that are approaching.
The terrifying dogs continue to sniff and nod at each other. A cloud of mist surrounds them with every breath they take. Roberto hugs the two women tightly, and they hug him back. A large black cloud covering the moon
