SCRIPT" IS PLAYING IN THE MOVIE THEATERS
FADE IN:
INTRO
INT. MOVIE THEATER - NIGHT
The camera starts to zoom in from the entrance of the movie theater around 24 people are watching the movie when the camera focuses the screen, the camera doesn't project images just blurry black and white video and distorted sounds.
People start screaming. The camera zooms out from the screen theater to the entrance and focuses all people (lightless) fighting and killing each other violently.
The scene is cut, and the name of the movie appears. "The
Lightless"
SCENE 1
EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - MORNING
Construction workers appear opening a ditch for a building foundation, while digging into the ground they find a chest, they dig it out and take it to the office. the scene is cut.
SCENE 2
EXT. STREET - MORNING
Mia appears on the scene in front of her house waiting for the school bus.
ANNE
Are you nervous for your first day of school?
MIA
A little bit.
(The bus is approaching)
ANNE
The bus is coming baby...
(The bus stops in front of Anne and Mia)
MIA
Bye Mommy – I’m going to miss you (Hugs Anne)
ANNE
Bye baby – Enjoy school.
(Mia gets in the bus) ...
Anne gets back to the house, Peter appears on the scene in the kitchen, cooking breakfast.
INT. HOUSE - MORNING
(Anne Walks towards peter)
ANNE
(Anne hugs peter from the back and kiss him).
First day of school.
ANNE
You don’t have to cook breakfast baby. -You’re going to be late for work.
(Peter turned around and hugs Anne) …
PETER
…and today is a special day – they going to tell us if we can continue working in the project.
(Peter stops hugging Anna and sees that the food does not burn.) –-
-- Remember it was paused due to the two workers that accidentally died.
(Peter walks towards the living room gets his portfolio and put his Jacket on)
PETER
How did Mia feel? -- I hope one day she can see me as her father.
ANNE
(Anne follows peter to the living room and takes a deep breath). she's only 10 years old, -- things will change over time. -- She will have to accept that her father is no longer with us.
(Peter's cell phone rings. Jason his coworker is calling.)
INT. OFFICE - MORNING
(Transition to Jason office, he is sitting on his deck)
JASON
Hey Peter, where are you? -- The commission is already here. -- The meeting will start in 20 minutes.
(Peter looks at the time on his watch)
PETER
Uh-oh! -- I will be there in 15 minutes.
(Peter walks towards the door, Anne follows him, Peter gave her a kiss goodbye.)
EXT. STREET - MORNING
PETER
Bye Honey -- see you later...
(Peter gets into his car)
ANNE
Bye Lovie
(Anne stares at him while he leaves.)
The scene is cut.
SCENE 3
INT. CHURCH - MORNING
Raymond appears on his knees in an old church, Raymond seems to be praying. The church priest is in the front reading some documents that are in the pulpit, Raymond continues kneeling look at the priest with A look of revenge and hate, he begins to remember how his daughter's death happened. (The scene makes a transition). (Raymond starts to remember).
