Songs of Being - Nader Rahimi

Twilight is a retrieve for a sunrise

    Forever standing the tall mountain,

Endeavors the long droughts and stormy weathers,

The roving river between the valleys and mountains, brawl with rocks and sands forever.

In the face of roadblocks, it makes reoccurring advances and occasional retrieve.

The shining sun that ends the darkness of the night,

Bravely faces off with the night every day.

Twilight is fruition of a day and a retrieve for a sunrise.

    Why prisons have tall walls,

Who lurks at the shadows of darkness,

    Why People dress black,

    Where people bury their sorrows,

    And disinter hope,

    Tulips have red color,

    Butterflies live short,

    Where dreams never die, and

    Hopes always live.

    Water lily season

From the ruins of today tomorrow will rise,

From the seeds of withering flowers a garden,

From the lifeless winter a fecund season,

From the stagnate waters and backwaters a moving river,

From the resonance of a child’s cry a
