    Liana Brooks once read the book GOOD OMENS by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and noted that both their biographies invited readers to send money (or banana daiquiris). That seems to have worked well for them. Liana prefers strawberry daiquiris (virgin!) and will never say no to large amounts of cash in unmarked bills. Her books are sweet and humorous with just enough edge to keep you reading past your bedtime. Liana was born in San Diego and in addition to there has lived in Illinois, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kansas. We'd like to tell you where she is right now, but last we checked she was researching books on both Alaska and Africa.       Sir, how would you like to take your dream vacation today?

      The young woman smiling at Jazin as he tried to hurry down the packed commuter tunnel was a perky little thing. Cute button nose, cinnamon-colored hair, and pale-gold freckles on skin a few shades darker than her hair. She waved a synthpaper brochure at him. Where do you want to go?

      Home, Jazin said, avoiding eye contact. My bank account doesn’t match my dreams.

      She stepped out from behind the table, her ivy-green skirt swirling as she moved. I have dream vacations for  all budgets.

      Yeah? And he was going to get a promotion to a corner office. Just as soon as the moon turned blue. Does this dream vacation come with paid leave?

      The young woman smiled impishly. "No leave time required. This really is a dream vacation. With a touch of her finger, the brochure projected a hologram of him on a white sand beach.
