About this ebook

Ashley's life seems bland and uncomfortable. This changes when she receives a call from her hysterical friend. Once Ashley journeys over and hears of an ill-fated being and a mysterious box, she learns the truth of reality. Will the box destroy her, too? She can only grab at time and chance. Perhaps she's been living her own lies, in her own mind. Perhaps this box will show the true colors of people and how characters can't escape fate due to the flowing nature of the universe.

    Chapter 1

The waves grabbed at the timeless shore.  The sand was like a million stars going into a supermassive black hole, gravity grabbing, except for the colored tint in the water. Blood laced each crest.  Each trough pulled back, a royal purple being drown again and again, not unlike past lives.  Wind swirled as wine intoxicates the body, and Ashley felt her senses betray her.  She could not think.  Like a wordless animal, she felt helpless in the angry storm, alone in the universe.
