Book 1 Chapter 2

Shredded

Location: Necropolish

Eric returns from his trip, tired from the fight. He steps out of the Transporter with exhaustion, looking up at the necropolish. *sigh* He steps up the stairs passing necromongers who see him as a hero, too worn out to look at them. Eric reaches the 28th floor to Tanjas office, hoping for a good welcome. He sees her, Tanja sitting at her desk, always working. She raises her head, to find Eric's beat up physically and mentally. Worried one day it may be the last. Eric walks forward to sit down of exhaustion.

Eyes closed with a heavy breathing. Tanjas breaks the silence I have decided that this lonesome work is too much for you. You have been in dangerous situations too many times almost getting yourself killed. I have decided to give you a partner to help you out, someone as skilled as you to protect you. Eric looks up expecting a savior to his life, lift his burdens a little bit, but looks troubled. He's been on this job alone for 30 years now, gotten use to the madness he has seen. I don't need anyone to help me, i can do it myself, and have done for a long time. So don't!

Eric showing a despising face. Tanja answers with no acceptance to Eric's opinion I don't care what you think is right, you have been in too many dangerous situations where you almost died. I am giving you a partner. Eric gives up easy. He agrees cause he knows there is no arguing Fine, I’ll take Marcus. Tanja looks at Marcus and responds imminently No, he will stay here because i already have someone picked out for you, Juno.

Eric's hearth drops as he hears her name. His face growing with anger, he quickly stands up. NO, i will not have her as my partner, what she did 30 years ago is unforgivable. I rather work alone.

Tanja: I knew you would not like this idea, but it's been 30 years and i see her to be the only one to fit as your partner. Please Eric looks at her seeing concern. As much as he doesn't like Juno. He knows Tanja enough to know she wouldn't do things if they weren't needed.

Eric: I still have the vile image of her in my head. I'll take her, but i will like something first. Tanja surprised of his demand but eager to listen.

I want a better car, a car that is strong and doesn't get destroyed easily. I had 30 cars last year, all of them destroyed on the job.

Tanja looks pleased with that condition and agrees. Eric steps forward and smashes his hands on the table: So, where is she?

Later that day Eric is in an old car with Marcus as the driver. A very sunny day Eric looking worried thinking Tanja won't give him a new car. Nervous of seeing his sister again he asks Marcus: So why can’t i drive there alone, why have you with me?

Marcus: Tanja told me to. She doesn't want you to be late or have second guesses. Marcus with a sharp tone.

I am, always have.-Eric looks out the window with wonder of her, thinking all that he and his sister have been through. Wondering if she is still the same.

They arrive at a construction site in the big city of New York. The sun shining hot onto them. Is this it, this is where she's at?

Marcus: Yea she works here, she owns this construction site, she knows were coming so she should show herself. They look over the distance to spot a girl with pink hair wearing a construction hat. Those green eyes like Eric’s, with a tall and sexy figure. *gulp* Eric nervously swallows, knowing that's her. She starts walking towards them with a smile, skipping ahead. Eric's face lifted of worry as he sees her again after such a long time. Seeing her beautiful face, like when they first met. She runs towards him and jumps to his arms out of pure joy. He feels at peace again, like a pause in time. He can’t be mad at something that once gave him peace.

Juno: I've missed you, I haven't seen you for so long. As she pulls back with a big smile on her face. A tear of joy. Eric seeing her again reminded him on why she was so special, how he has missed the good in her. He pulls back to keep a distance, for he knows Juno's looks can be deceiving, but keeps a straight face to keep things cool.

You've been expecting me.

Juno: Tanja called me asking for help, said you've been getting yourself into too much trouble. She looks over to Marcus. Hello Marcus. It's been a long time no see. You've been taking care of my brother for me. I hope.

Marcus: I came cause your brother wasn't too keen on coming, needed to make sure you to were gonna meet and come back to The Necropolish. You are needed for a task. He looks at her with caution. Eric standing to the side with mixed emotions. Marcus hasn't seen Eric like that for a long time, he thinks to himself: She must really be that special.

Marcus looks over the site : Not too surprised you happen to own this place, You were always too good at destroying the world.

Juno: All you need is good looks and a powerful hypnosis onto everyone. as she answers with pride Let's go.

The trio on their way back to the Necropolish arriving there at noon with Juno asleep throughout all of it. Eric looks at her: I have forgotten what she was like, how sweet, innocent.

Marcus: Don't forget your own rules against her, you know what she's like.(Looks back at the road) I will drop you off at your house and take her to her own place. I know not to leave you two at the same house. We'll come by tomorrow.

They arrive at an apartment building. Eric steps out of the car to look upon his home. Wind blowing on his face. Marcus interrupts the moment: Oh and before i forget. Charlie wants to see you tomorrow. I'll tell Juno the same. Have a mouse.

He drives away with Juno at the backseat. Eric tired not having any sleep for days, he walks up the stairs to the second floor up to his door. *knock* *knock*.He lays his head against the door. The door opens and he sees Hai. (She is short compared to Eric. Has natural black hair with sky blue eyes.) , his roommate at the door. She had been part of tragedy a few months ago. Where her entire family was murdered by his father who had started turning into a demonic necromonger. She being the only survivor thanks to Eric. Now living with Eric cause she is still haunted by what happened and Eric being the only one she trusts.

Hai:  Oh hi, you've been gone so long i got worried. I even called Tanja but she didn't tell me.

Eric: I had a rough day. Almost getting killed, again. And then having to go after my sister cause she is to become my partner. I need to go and rest, but how was your day?

You asking how i am after what you've been through? You need to go to bed and give me your coat. I need to wash it. Eric almost falling to the ground of pain and exhaustion, gets carried to his room where he falls on his bed asleep.

Hai taking his coat off to go repair it and wash off the blood. She looks at him for a moment with sadness on her face, having to see Eric go through so much every day. She doesn’t know much about his sister other than that Eric doesn't like her.

The next in the morning. Eric wakes up hungry and looking around to see his gear missing. He rushes out of his room. To see all set and ready on the table with a note on top. It reads a message from Hai : I have gone to buy some groceries, i fixed your coat and gear. Hope it's all right with you. Eat before you go!

Eric with a smile on his face, grabs his gear and puts it on. Having that girly fresh smell. He laughs feeling joyful and walks out of the house. He spots Juno at the entrance waiting alone. Surprised as Eric is. He walks to her.

How long have you been waiting?

Juno with a big smile: Heh, for about an hour. It's fine, i knew you were tired. I already had my sleep. They start walking together in the hot sun.

Eric: I suppose we should talk a little, we haven't seen each other for a long time.

Juno: Yea, I’ve missed you too. Been quite bored without you. All that travelling and different men couldn't make me as happy as you could.

Eric says with an  serious voice: I HAVEN'T forgiven you for what you did, you coming back thinking its all good, all in the past. NO, don't think that. Don't take my lack of anger as a sign of forgiveness.

Juno: Ah , You've always been a hard ass, don't worry i still love you. You can feel my feelings. Being blood tied and all Juno with a smile on her face.

Eric sighs before walking forward. He looks at her more calmly. We should go to Charlie, he had something for me today. They walk towards the city's main headquarters. Juno happy to be back with Eric.

They arrive at the front of the Necropolish. With Charlie learning against a new car, acting cool. Here it is! Your brand new car. A BMW M3

Eric with a surprise on his face as he got himself his own car. I got it? Tanja delivered.

Charlie skips around the car explaining everything Yea i have been working on this car for months. Made it just for you. It has armor on every side, even the windows. It has no Weapons but it can ride on water and has the latest tech in it. This car will be hard to destroy.

Eric admiring his car. Juno walks in front of him So Eric, want to try again? She raises her hand for him Give me another chance?

Eric looking serious, he accepts but not with full confidence. Charlie stops them: Come by my workshop after you've taken the car out for a drive.

Eric looks Charlie with happiness: Thank you man, always a true friend. Eric and Juno get into the car, Eric starts admiring the car and looks at Juno. They drive away.

Book 1 chapter 3

No exemptions

Location necropolish

Eric and Juno return from their ride and go to a house outside of the Necropolish city. To Charlie’s workshop. They drive on the dark road, seeing a big ship above with big lights on it. They look out and up the window as the light shines onto them. They drive underneath and hear the big skyscraper sized engines working and pushing it forward. Something so big making such a quiet sound. A silent killer. The Necromonger Warship. Level 11 on the threat scale.

They drive to a house that’s more like a garage looking like a bunker. It's all of them, to Charlie. They park the car in front with Charlie’s other vehicles and planes. *cling* The door starts opening. Eric met with bright lights and  shadow in the middle of the door. Standing strong like a hero. They walk towards him. Suddenly Charlie comes from the side of the door.

Hey guys glad you made it. Eric and Juno looking surprised.

Who's that right there?- Eric asks as he's pointing at the shadow

Charlie: That right there is a cardboard cutout made in my image. I use it for.... stuff. Nothing. Anyway come on inside i have something for you. They walk together inside and down the stairs into a room filthy as a junkyard. Schematics on the wall. Tools everywhere on the ground and table. Oil spilled on the ground. Robot parts in the corner. And a dark room in the hallway with a plane nose sticking out.

Eric walks up to Charlie. What do you have for me?

Charlie with a smile and excitement, he pulls out a box closed shut. Are you ready? He opens the box to reveal 2 guns inside. But oddly bigger and different in markings.

Eric and Juno take a closer look with curiosity. Eric knows there's more to them, knowing Charlie.

Eric: What’s special about them. Mhh? These don't have ammo clips in them. And i can feel something pulling the innards of my hand."

Charlie grabs the gun. These are no ordinary guns. They are very special, were made just for you, because you are  the only vampire with 3 000 000 souls to use them. These guns dont fire bullets but instead soul energy. A very powerful shot. That feeling you have is them connecting to your many souls, ready to fire. These are clean bullets so no evidence will be left behind and will leave a apple sized hole in another body."

Juno with jealousy: Jesus Charlie that seems a little much don't you think?

Charlie with a crazed, happy look in his eyes. "I designed the Warship, i think i would know when i create another weapon of mass destruction. Which i have. These guns
