    Preface

    If you have made it to this page I thank you. If you make to the pages beyond then enjoy. The pieces held within were mostly written in the 1990s. The whole of the 90s saw me go from a 15 year old to the age of 25. I met a lot of people during that time and all have inspired me.

    The people I have met have gone on to be many things from Grammy winners to stay at home parents to teachers to painters to anything you can imagine, but one thing they all still remain is an impact on my life.

    As I put together this collection I was remembering the situations that led me to put some of these words on paper. There was the time I was sitting in a church in the middle of the night by myself, a friend committing suicide, loves that were not meant to be, friends being friends, driving through the Appalachian Mountains trying to find Jesus, and just how I felt about the direction of the world around me.
