    Taryn Verons is a teen girl who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, the incurable mental disorder. This is the story of how a 17-year old girl goes from her life in a psych ward of a hospital in New York to being a public speaker on self-esteem. This story does deal with various mental disorders. Reader discretion is advised due to this. This story is not mature but deals with real issues that many people deal with. Every part of this is made up. Except the mental disorders and tests. I have researched each mental test and disorder to the best of my ability to make it as accurate as possible. The characters and events are completely a work of fiction.       Voices swarmed around in my head like bees in a hive. I couldn't think. As painful as a bee sting, the voices collided with each other and would scream over each other. The pain was excruciating. I couldn't see them but they were always there, the voices in my head. They told me things about others and about myself. No one knew about them. People would think I was crazy. But I guess that's why I'm here. The darkness around me slowly lit up as my eyes fluttered open slowly. Two heads were in view as everything else rushed by.
