About this ebook

Taryn Verons is a teen girl who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, the incurable mental disorder. This is the story of how a 17-year old girl goes from her life in a psych ward of a hospital in New York to being a public speaker on self-esteem. This story does deal with various mental disorders. Reader discretion is advised due to this. This story is not mature but deals with real issues that many people deal with. Every part of this is made up. Except the mental disorders and tests. I have researched each mental test and disorder to the best of my ability to make it as accurate as possible. The characters and events are completely a work of fiction. Any likeness to real people or events is a pure coincidence. Thank you and enjoy. Image found off of Pinterest and edited by me on PicsArt.

But I guess that's why I'm here. The darkness around me slowly lit up as my eyes fluttered open slowly. Two heads were in view as everything else rushed by. W-whe-where am I? I managed to speak. The words didn't feel like mine but rather they hung in the air like stale crackers. The voices were swarming in my head still. But I could make out the
