Co-Pastor Ann Caffee
A native Washingtonian, at least out doors (inside the house was straight North Carolina), Ann was the second born of seven siblings. She was educated in the D.C. Public Schools and upon graduation from high school, jumped right into 'I'm Every Woman See Me Roar' pop-culture hype of the 60's and 70's. And off she went. She was wife, Mother, D.C. and federal government employee and part-time under-grad .student That is until the dream became a nightmare and the Wonder Woman syndrome came to a screeching climax.
Co-Pastor Ann invites us to join her as she sojourns on towards The High Calling of Christ Jesus. Hopefully, she says, as you glean through these pages, you'll discover some crumbs that entice, encourage and strengthen your pursuit of your own personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 46:1
I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no Savior. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God.
Isaiah 43:11-12
Growing up in the inner city, back in the day, I remember the streets were always filled with the energy and laughter of children from sun up till sundown. There always seemed to be so much to do. Most of our parents didn’t have a lot of money to spend on entertainment. In fact, in most homes, there was no TV’s, no computers, no X-Boxs, no ipods, and yes, no cell phones. Strangely enough, I can hardly remember ever being bored. Our imaginations might be best described as overactive. We were extremely creative. Someone was always introducing a new game to play, a new dance, a new song, or a new way of doing an old thing.
However, no matter how involved we might have been in our child’s play, we instinctively were tuned into that certain sound, that certain voice. We could’ve been half way down the street somewhere, but when Mama stuck her head out the door and called your name, a sacred like hush fell upon everyone’s ears as we all zoned into to that sound to decipher who was calling who.
In the age of this New Millennium Age there are so many things to occupy our time and our thoughts. There is always some new distraction, new project, new goal to attain, new challenge to overcome. Saints, now more than ever, we need to know who’s behind the voice that’s calling us.
The Bible says my sheep know my voice and another voice they will not follow.
(Ref. John 10:27) It’s become critical. Yes, in some cases a matter of life and death; that we are tuned into the call of God. Just as we ,as children, knew our Mama’s voice and dropped whatever we were doing and responded quickly to that call it is incumbent upon everyone of us to hush and open up our spirit to the Voice!
Hence, Shhh! Be Still and Know!
(Psalm 46:10)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus For good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should Walk in them" Ephesians 2:10
Okay, let me begin by saying, it’s not my intention to offend the sanctity of The Holy Writ, however it’s been my personal internal experience that often the process of life application is ‘easier said than done’! Needless to say, this mindset tends to carry long its own measure of guilt. After all, we’re people of faith, right?
Fortunately, when we understand The Truth, that it’s God Himself, fully aware of who and what we are capable (aka incapable of), has saved us, not because—but—in spite—of, we get a snapshot of God’s Impregnable Loving Kindness towards us, laced with a whopping dollop of reality!
Hence, GET OVER U! News Flash! You are not the ‘good news’! Jesus Is!
None of us is saved by trusting in ourselves, but anyone can be saved by trusting in God’s Mercy! None of us can keep our selves saved through our own volition, however by trusting in God’s Grace we are sustained through His Sufficiency!
Ultimately, its placing your personal confidence in The Almighty God, realizing (as the Ol’ Skool Church Mothers’ sanng) "JESUS PAID IT ALL, ALL TO HIM I OWE, SIN HAD LEFT A CRIMSON STAIN, AND HE WASHED ME WHITE AS SNOW", and accepting as Truth, that everything required to satisfy The Righteous of God, Jesus already did it, releases us from the daily burden of ‘being good enough to deserve God’s goodness! Didjaheardat?
WOW! JESUS, Perfection Personified, got it all right for you! Now that doesn’t mean we’re off the hook! Don’t be foolish; be grateful! Because of His Once-and-for-all Sacrificial Death,
