    Welcome Home Bunny

So you've got a rabbit! Congratulations! Or your thinking about getting a rabbit, but need to know more about it's care. Your in the right place!

Let's go over what to do when you bring your bunny home, and some basic bunny facts.

What do I do when we get home? Can I play? Does the bunny want some fruit?

    Answers, no and no!

Rabbits get stressed very easily, they can die or get ill, so you want to let them settle in before playing. So give your bunny 3-7 days before playing or holding much. Just let your rabbit get used to his/her cage and dishes. Make sure you got a bag of transition feed from the place you bought your rabbit from.

The bunny probably wants fruit, but the question is, should the bunny have fruit. The answer is no! You don't know what the rabbit's previous diet was and therefore should let the rabbit settle in and slowly introduce it to fruit, only feeding a few times a week. Some Dandelion greens are fine though. Just a small handful!

Now, what else to do when you and your rabbit arrive at your house?

Well carefully put the bunny in the cage, don't drop it! You should put your rabbit in the cage backwards, so it doesn't jump and hurt itself.

Once the bunny is in the cage put some of your feed and the transition feed in the feeder, and make sure the water bottle is full. It may be a good idea to ask the breeder if the rabbit drank from a bowl or water
