    Introduction

    This is a small sample of poems taken from a larger collection that I have not decided to publish. These poems and songs represent various times in my life dating back to my early twenties. They tell pieces of my story, and is titled as such. I hope that you enjoy every one of them. I also pray that these words nourish and enlighten you in whatever capacity the Lord see fit. Thank you for hearing my voice.

    This book in part and its entirety is dedicated to Willie and Joyce, God’s gift to their children. Two children who raised us with all the love they could give. Making us the richest kids we know. I love you Pop and Mommy, and I thank God for you both.
