    Preface

    I dedicate this book to those who have suffered or are suffering some kind of illness or disability; with the hope they will find solace and refuge in the words I have written.

    Special Thanks:

    Masha Sedaghatian for her efforts in contributing many lines of verses in a few of the stanzas on the last four poems of this book.  Her dedication and work ethic is always greatly appreciated and welcomed.

    Afflicted

    My quotes and poems are mainly,

    for those with an affliction-

    whether if it’s from ,

    an unfortunate physical or mental condition;

    it is to provide solace and peace of mind-

    is my intended mission.

    My words are free not bound –

    to any particular cause or group interest-

    they are for all to enjoy and appreciate;

    the message the words interpret-

    a bridge to a world of the sufferer –

    to narrow the gap,

    for those who don’t care,

    because for many-

    it is business as usual and of them;
