I recline on my rocking chair
my mind drifts along
aimlessly;
into the distant past years.
I am transported to
a huge playground
of childhood memories.
I watch the kids at play.

1 MY FRIENDS

My friends, my soul ,

My life, my past,

My present, my future

Forever and ever.

NOT FOR ME, THE FLIGHTS of fancy,

Those who flit in and out,

Of my life, now here, now gone,

A few months or weeks,

Need based friendship.

IT BEATS ME, HOW EASILY;

You are no more a friend,

The love, effort put in,

All in vain, learning experience.

FORTUNATELY, LOVELY friends,

Adorn my life, enriching it,

Their smiles and laughter,

Silences too, satisfy my soul.

I WORRY SOMETIMES, those who,

Never nurture a friendship,

Let it die a natural death,

Just a casual touch and go,

Appear to disappear.

NO MSG, NO CALL, NO communication,

No problem, friends live in hearts,

Unconditional love, pure, innocent,

I love you just because.....

May the Almighty Bless You,

Keep all my friends safe,

in good health and happiness.

I LOVE AND CHERISH them all,

Though near or far,

Though for few months,

Or, from class one

You are so precious,

You are my LIFE

2 I LOVE YOU JUST BECAUSE

Ilove you just because

I am, you are, we are,

that's what matters.

There's no reason for Love.

IT JUST IS,

A boundless sky.

You are love,

Your Innate Nature.

Your existence.

LOVE HAS NO RELATIONSHIP; for

then it dies a slow natural death,

Suffocating your very being.

Let Love Be.

I AM, YOU ARE,

I love you just because,

You are special, a good critic,

caring friend, encouraging teacher, strict task master,

warm person, loving father,

doting brother,

an extension of the Guru,

a comforting presence,

indispensable, invaluable,

at all times.

LOVE IS CLOSENESS,

with plenty of space,

simple yet complex.

I love you just because,

I need you to grow, evolve,

mentally, spiritually, emotionally.

I LOVE YOU JUST BECAUSE,

You are you, I am,

I am, you are,

You are, I am.

3 SMILE

Smiling Sun from the Heavens,

sustaining all life on Earth.

Smiling stars and the Moon too,

inspiring poets, lovers and all

mankind.

A SIMPLE SOULFUL SMILE,

transforming the face,

into a warmth and love,

breaking all barriers,

of anger, hate, envy and jealousy.

Negativity just vanishes.

WATCH A BABY'S TOOTHLESS smile,

Oh the Blissful joy,

Warms the cockles of the heart,

mother's swell with pride,

at the mere memory of a smile.

IT NEEDS NO LANGUAGE,

no race, or nationality,

A smile is a smile,

half, full, beaming, wry,

So many kinds...

BRINGING CHEER ALL around,

Smiles are so welcome

in these testing times,

A ray of hope eternal.

Does it cost much to lend

your smiles?

Send it to someone without it,
