Acknowledgments
A trusted person with professional experience in related fields helped with this analysis. From general support, to assisting in de-complicating the writing style.
Few friendships span, and survive for decades. I consider myself wealthy in the sense of having such a talented friend. With her background in psychology, and counseling I received both trust, and invaluable assistance.
Brenda’s respect for my enthusiasm brought motivation. And assistance in overcoming adversity. As consistency breeds success, her friendship, and opinions have remained priceless in maintaining my own determination.
Including that I acknowledge my Mothers assistance, and positive thoughts. This book would not be possible without her support. Knowing the approval of any parent is moral boost as well. Another lady, who is both professional, and highly intelligent.
Prologue
I decided to write a short prologue for each reader. I’d like to thank each person that takes in this research. I feel it’s needed and only fair to explain a few things here rather than in the book. First this is based on true events. Real crimes that were committed, including murders. Some of the material is graphic in nature. I deal well with the darker side of things. Yet I’ve had some negative dreams. No nightmares, however if you’re the type of person that’s easily effected by creepy topics be warned.
I don’t feel this is extreme on the one hand, but I would not give it to kids to read myself. Then these days what age denotes that point? I’m certain that’s enough and the reader gets the point.
If you decide to follow my analysis, it is being produced in two, or three parts. The reason is this. Trying to explain a highly complicated encoding, and decoding method in a book is nearly a nightmare. It should be read at a slightly slower pace for some readers, myself included. A small degree of the material is packed with information so to speak. This is especially true in chapters involving the processes that are described.
In all fairness to the readers this is part one. Part two will hopefully be available in 2016. Sometime between summer, and winter. My goal is to have two parts. I’m reserving that there may be three.
I placed as much information as possible in this book. Some of the finer points in my methods are not mentioned in part one. The reason is this; it would become a boring text book. Read like mud, and make little sense. My future intentions are to develop a clean system. One that’s makes a good read and fully explains even more detail than part one. This book is quite full of information in itself.
This opener so to speak does cover the main symbol uses, and meanings. Key codes, and key words that develop key codes as well. And some of the mathematics. Over explanation creates too much diversity. So to keep things smooth, so to speak. I’ve broken up the research. Nonetheless, this becomes clear as a bell once you’re in these chapters, and apply the decoding method.
I also intend to go back and triple check lines twelve thru the end, or twentieth line of code in part two. Line eleven is special, and is mentioned in part one. I also intend to use what we learn from this investigation, and the completion of the entire cipher. In an attempt to decode the older, and shorter ciphered messages that exist as well.
I’ve also included a range of information in part one. For the younger audience, and those readers that have never known much about the Zodiac killer. Also keeping in mind that information, and finer points on older cases are often forgotten. But in polling people the interest is still high, it’s just not current.
Before writing this; part one I ask a lot of people about the Zodiac killer. The case, and or cases. It became clear to include enough facts to blend in a history for the reader. The overall case of the Zodiac killer is amazing in itself.
I share quite a few
