About this ebook

In the last few years, during my devotions, God has dropped into my heart thoughts that I have called “crumbs.” These reminded me of the scripture of the Syrophenician woman and her response to Jesus, “Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” (Matthew 15:27.) In her hour of need and brokenness she came to the Savior. Likewise, in my hour of need, the Lord began to bless me with “crumbs” that fell from His bountiful table.

    Preface

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Matthew 15:27

Crumbs? Have you ever considered that a crumb contains all the ingredients used in the batter of the whole loaf or baked goods? I heard Rev. C.M. Becton make this statement in a sermon he preached using the example of the Syrophenician woman.

In the last few years, during my devotions, God has dropped into my heart thoughts that I have called crumbs. These reminded me of the scripture of the Syrophenician woman and her response to Jesus, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. (Matthew 15:27.) In her hour of need and brokenness she came to the Savior. Likewise, in my hour of need, the Lord began to bless me with crumbs that fell from His bountiful table.

As you read each one, the Lord may drop thoughts into your heart, so a page is provided after each one for you to write your thoughts.

May you enjoy and be blessed and encouraged.
