MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN: FOR MY PEOPLE, Vol. I, 1993-1995
God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.
~ Saint Augustine of Hippo
GREG & MARY KUHN
Summary: Pray always
(Luke 18:1) and without ceasing
(1 Thessalonians 5:17). Is it any wonder then, that God should speak to some individuals, not only at the level of the intellect and the imagination, but also in the realm of the senses, as when Jesus appeared to the disciples on the Road to Emmaus or in the Upper Room in Jerusalem (Luke 24)? In this first volume, you will find a compilation of messages as given to the scribe, Mary Kuhn, from 1993 to 1995, for the good of all humanity. These private revelations will enrich your life and draw you into the great love that our Creator has for each and every one of His creations. Stay alert then. Be open. And for the glory of God, be ready to be loved by the living God, His holy mother, the angels and the saints.

"When we look back on our journey in this life -- from two guys in Jersey who wanted to make movies to the making of God's Not Dead -- the moment that stands out most clearly is the moment we received a message from Our Lord to ‘Come, pick up your cross and follow Me.’ That message came through Mary Kuhn. The messages contained in this book are no less profound and will -- if listened to -- change you and your life the way it changed ours."

"What impresses me about these Messages From Heaven is that they are consistent with those received by the children of Fatima. I have known Greg and Mary Kuhn for 35 years, and I know they are sincere, devout Catholics. Anyone who reads these messages will be challenged! Sometimes they ‘hit a nerve!’ It is good to be reminded of these essential aspects of our spiritual lives for our own good and that of the Church and world in which we live."

Pray always
(Luke 18:1) and without ceasing
(1 Thessalonians 5:17). If we do this, without doubt God will speak to us. Is it any wonder then, that God should speak to some individuals, not only at the level of the intellect and the imagination, but also in the realm of the senses, as when Jesus appeared to the disciples on the Road to Emmaus or in the Upper Room in Jerusalem (Luke 24)?
Throughout the history of the Catholic Church, there have been individuals who have claimed to have sensible encounters with God, the Blessed Mother Mary, and various souls of saints in Heaven or Purgatory.
The dialogue
of Saint Catherine of Siena with Jesus gives us a recording of intimate conversations over a long period of time with the Lord and Catherine.[1] Our Blessed Mother Mary appearing to Saints Lucia Santos, Jacinta and Francisco Marto in Fatima, Portugal in 1916, provided the world with a renewed vigor of prayer for peace. Saint Padre Pio (1887-1968) was reported to have talked to thousands of souls from Purgatory, which gave us renewed confidence to pray for those who have died.[2]
Whenever someone claims to have a new message from God for the faithful, private revelation, we must carefully recognize three elements:
The foremost and perfect public revelation for the sake of the salvation of souls comes from Jesus Christ and His Church through Sacred Scripture. It is supported and further articulated by the Sacred Tradition and Magisterium of the Church.
Any claim of private revelation must ultimately be united perfectly to the Truth—Jesus Christ—and without contradiction to Jesus’ public revelation of God.
Private revelation never contains any new
revelation of God for the sake of salvation that has not already been revealed in the public revelation of God.
The analogy of highlighting may prove helpful when trying to understand private revelations.
Have you ever read a book that someone else has read and noticed personalized highlights of sentences or markings in the margins? Has it ever inspired you to concentrate more on the meaning of those noted texts? The private revelations to the previous reader have somehow brought renewed emphasis on what was already present in the original public text.
This is much like how Heaven is revealed to us through the private revelation of God or the Saints to an individual.
Mary Kuhn claims to have had private revelations of God, and the content may be fresh to whomever comes across it. However, had the reader spent time in prayer with Sacred Scripture, the teachings of the Magisterium and the vast treasure of Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church, he or she would not really be reading anything that was not already articulated by God in His public revelation. In short, private revelation is a highlighting of God to us of what He has already said elsewhere.
Also, it needs to be said explicitly, that all persons involved in the production of this book submit themselves voluntarily and entirely to the wisdom and scrutiny of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. If ever any element of this book should be found having fault or deviating in the slightest from the truth of Jesus Christ, we desire to humbly conform everything to Jesus and His Church.
We ask that any reader of this book submit himself, likewise, to Jesus and His Church and study, ever more assiduously, the public revelation of Jesus; for, there is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved,
(Acts 4:12).

Foreword
In the year 2013, a priest friend, mentor and spiritual director for me while I was studying in seminary, Father Richard McGuire, came to visit me with a special request. He was suffering with terminal cancer and knew his days were limited. Father McGuire, who had many spiritual sons and daughters under his guidance in spiritual direction, was seeking to find replacement spiritual directors for those entrusted to his care.
There was one married couple in particular whose situation was peculiar for a few reasons, one of which was that they preferred to have spiritual direction together as a married couple. My name had come to Father McGuire in prayer, and he felt I would be a suitable predecessor for them, should I be so willing. I accepted to meet with this extraordinary couple.
It has now been four years since my first meeting with Greg and Mary Kuhn. These past four years have been a privilege and honor to serve as Spiritual Director for them.
Greg and Mary Kuhn are a happily married couple; they are joyful, peaceful, gentle, and reverent. I have found them to be consistently faithful in their love for Christ and His Church. Both are deeply spiritual and insightful, attentive to the movements of the Holy Spirit and passionate about the wonders and truths of our Catholic religion. They are pleasant and friendly to converse with, and both are of good, sound moral character.
I testify that Greg and Mary Kuhn are in good standing with the Catholic Church, and that their desire to serve the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength is authentic and sincere.
For many years under the direction of Father McGuire and during these past four years with me, God seems to be prompting them to share what they have received from Heaven
with others, messages that Mary has officially recorded since 1993.
Moved by an interior grace of the Holy Spirit, selected messages, particularly concerning the Catholic lay faithful, are being shared with you, at this present moment, for the glory of God and the good of His people. Mary, the one with whom Heaven
speaks, has, since the beginning, kept a record of these communications in handwritten form. Greg, in turn, was directed to type these messages into a readable text that was to be shared at some future date.
It is lovely to hear how often Heaven
addresses Mary with the words, My beloved couple,
or My dearest couple.
God acknowledges the unity of husband and wife even though Mary is the only one hearing what Heaven
is speaking. At other times, Heaven
addresses Mary in a very personal and tender manner, calling her: My dearest daughter,
or My dearest beloved.
This personal address reminds us of the uniqueness of each human person and how God can communicate his love as if each disciple is His one and only beloved.
At other times Heaven
speaks to Mary in a more universal message: My People.
At other times there is this double salutation: My People, My People,
an address to bring us to a greater attentiveness to what Heaven
wants to share with us.
This present volume contains those messages which Heaven
has asked Greg and Mary to share for the sake of God’s people, Heaven
being the Holy Trinity, the Mother of God, and various saints and angels. These messages have a prophetic quality. We might identify three prophetic themes that run throughout this present volume by using Heaven’s
actual words spoken to Mary.
The first prophetic word speaks of God’s love, and our need to trust this love. Heaven
communicates it this way: I am here for you.
The second theme is that of the repentance of sin, which is expressed in this way: Come back my people.
The third theme is that of conversion of heart, where we hear such beautiful words as these: Be me for my people.
May Heavens
words, Messages from Heaven: For My People, stir your hearts to love God and to live good and holy lives.
God bless you all.
Sincerely in Christ,
