The thing about life is that it never follows a specific direction or plan. It's filled with surprises, and the only way to get through it is to prepare for those surprises. Success lies in preparing to deal with bottlenecks, setbacks, opportunities, and pitfalls that will inevitably enter your journey. It was the same for Valentin Luboya, a Congolese/American who walked a path that led to his subsequent, and instead, unplanned mode of success. This man considers his journey unique, and it is that which managed to alter his perspective. His life experiences led him to embark on a transformative journey, beginning in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Situated right in the heart of Africa, Congo is unlike any other country in the continent – there truly is no other place better endowed. With a population topping over 80 million people, Congo is home to many bounties. In the land of abundance, there was a little boy living his life, unaware of the treasures that awaited his future. Valentin spent his childhood in Congo, which allowed him to have a strong foundation, eventually helping him grow his wings and soar through the skies towards the success he achieved in life.

From Congo, Valentin traveled to the United States in the 1980s on a student visa to be a commercial pilot. However, life had different plans. It turned out that despite completing his studies, a career in the field was not written in his books; he was unable to get a job due to a lack of experience. He blamed it on luck, but no matter how broken he felt, he knew that he absolutely could not waste any more time.

It pushed him to apply for American citizenship. While his documents were being processed, he enrolled at Kaplan University in Arlington, Texas, to become a real estate agent. Once Valentin attained the license, he was able to walk towards a whole new career path. The years that followed weren’t easy, but his dedication made him wear multiple hats within the industry. He was a Realtor, an investor, and an eCourse author.

Among these various roles, the one that Valentin found to hold the most tangible value was flipping and rehabbing houses. He relished in bringing joy to people's lives as they stepped into their new homes. For over a decade, he has helped people obtain financial freedom by making smart real estate investments. Valentin's expertise and ongoing experience in the field have been pivotal in realizing that his true passion lay in guiding people to find autonomy and making their dreams come true.
