Chapter 1: Secret of Freedom

Freedom is the state of being free, independent or without restrictions. It is a condition by which people have the opportunity to speak act and pursue happiness without unnecessary external restrictions.

Freedom is the power or right to act, speak or think as one wants without hindrance or restraints. It is a state of not being imprisoned or being enslaved. When you are unable to do what you want to do, or take the steps you want to take because of barriers, blockages or barricades you cannot be said to be living in freedom. Many are indeed imprisoned or enslaved both spiritually and physically: Here we have two types of enslavements,they are:

Cognizant Enslavement:

This category of people know they are in bondage or enslaved, they are aware that they are in some sort of captivity or imprisonment, however, with no idea of how to gain liberation.

They have the knowledge and the perception of their situation; that, they are imprisoned either physically or spiritually and because of this, they intentionally want to be freed, yet without knowing how to navigate their way out. They’ve tried all possible means yet to no avail. Jacob in Genesis 32:22-32 knew he was in bondage and he wrestled for his freedom he wrestled here means he travailed in prayer fervently and he was freed.

Travailing in prayers means praying from your inner man, that is, your spirit man; agonizing over a matter: the act of groaning. This kind of prayer is like a woman in labor, ensuring she pushes because she knows her time has come, she knows she is due. She knows her water has broken and she must not be flippant. She knows she in a battle between life and death,thus, no hesitations to doing what is right and favorable to her and the baby. When you know you are due to deliver your miracle everyone around you knows. Both the baby and the mother know
