Tom raised the radio, palming its rounded body. He hit the TALK button and spoke into it:

Nothing yet.

He let the button go, and a moment later a disembodied voice came out of the radio’s small speaker:

Keep your eyes peeled, Donnie replied over the radio. They’re already six minutes late.

Tom set the radio on the seat next to him.
