The book includes poems in various forms, including sonnets, tetractyses, tercets, haikus, limericks, and an intriguing poetic form called the "Minute". A special feature of the book is the introduction of a new poetic form that MaryAnn created called the "Diorion"--a form inspired by her husband's family name. This new form alone is worth purchasing the book.

Poems for All Seasons - MaryAnn Diorio

    Acknowledgments

This book of poetry reflects years of writing supported by wonderful people. First and foremost, I would like to thank my husband Dominic who has always encouraged me in my writing. He has done so not only through his words, but also through his actions. He has done the grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning so that I would have time to write. As children, they endured far too many pizza nights so that their mom could write. They have also prayed for me and encouraged me during the difficult times. Thank you, my beautiful girls, for believing in the dream.

Last, but certainly not least, I wish to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Who gave me the writing gift in the first place. May every word I write, every thought I think, and every breath I take glorify You.

    Poetic Form: The Diorion
