As a young girl you couldn't get me away from books. I spent a lot of time writing down the ideas in my mind and turning them into comics and funny stories with my sister.I loved being around books and could have lived in the library if I had been able to. I got lost in my Mother's books from when she was a child, 'King Arthur', 'The Arabian Nights', and Nancy Drew transported me from a lonely child into a queen, an Arabian princess, and a young detective.I love to learn about anything to do with spirituality and alternative healing methods and have been certified in many different modalities. I use my knowledge and experience with them as part of my storytelling.Channeling fiction is something relatively new and interesting to me. But the most fun part is being surprised by all the amazing stories and people who grace the pages of my books. I truly have learned so much from them and in the process have been led on a transformative journey right along with all of my readers.I'm so excited to be able to share stories of healing, love, and inspiration with you.

Chaga & Chai (Soulmates Series #2) - Tami Lyn Chambers

    1 AUTUMN

Billy dressed quickly knowing it was prime season for foraging wild mushrooms. Today he was out scouting for his beloved Ghost Pipe which he'd been wanting for a heart-opening elixir he planned on making for Samhain or Halloween as he called it when non-pagans were around.

It had been incredibly dry this past summer and now after a few days of drenching rain Billy was hoping to find quite a few popping up in his favorite foraging spot in the Redwood forest a few miles from where he was staying with his friend and soul brother for the summer.

Billy usually spent the summer months hopping around to various places in California and then packed it up in the first days of Autumn to head back to his winter home on the Oregon Coast. He liked the headlands and craggy overlooks best when it was raging and bellowing buckets of rain and wind on the coast.

Billy had not seen his best friend Claire Overmyer since late Spring after Beltane and she had been bugging him to get back home so they could hang out and swap shop talk about recipes and more. Claire just broke up with her partner Megan and needed a shoulder to cry on. It didn't hurt any if it was Billy Tavish's strong sculpted ones where she could rest her head in between tears and shots of absinthe.

Larimar McDougall was sitting at her spinning wheel daydreaming again. Her dark red hair falling into her eyes as she could clearly hear his voice in her mind. Her spirit lover was all she could think of it. A man she had been dreaming about since she was a teenager. Who was he she had no clue but clearly he was sharing her thoughts again. She could see him in her mind's eye and had even drawn a few pictures of him. But they didn't look like anyone she knew, in this lifetime anyway.

She figured she would find out one day and was content to let Rowan McIntyre hold her hand and more as of late. Blond-haired Norse born Rowan was perfect for her Larimar kept telling herself. She loved him or so she thought. At least his six-foot blonde muscular frame and sparkling blue eyes kept her coming back for more every time.

The Chai House Tea Bar was full when she headed back downstairs to see how Rehna and Claire were handling the kitchen. It looked like they had it under control so Larimar decided she needed some fresh air. Connecting with her mystery man always left her feeling a little melancholy. But why she had no idea.

Mabon the first day of Autumn had just come and gone and Larimar hadn't even had time to update the decorations in the tea house yet. Her mind had been on something Rowan had said to her that hadn't sat well the last time they had made love.

For heaven's sake Larimar, it's like you're not even here sometimes, he said feeling like he had been holding space with a ghost. What's got into your mind love? he said caressing her cheek.

Quite frankly Larimar wasn't sure. She had a woman's dream in Rowan and he kept her satisfied in every sense of the word but something just felt off sometimes. As the veils of Spirit thinned the closer it got to Samhain she felt her Spirit Lover's presence even closer. It was always the eyes she saw in her mind that got to her. There was such a deep love and knowing in them. She felt like she had been looking into them for all eternity.

I think I'm coming down with a cold, she lied. Larimar was never ill and Rowan knew it.

Was she seeing someone else he wondered as his jealous streak got the better of him? He'd been working hard to quell that demon ever since his wife Alessandra had left him for his best friend. He wanted to forget that whole nightmare of the last five years but he still had work to do there.

Shadow work was not his favorite thing to focus on and Larimar knew it too. Although he didn't call it that. Larimar understood the magic of light and dark and could discern much more than she let on to Rowan or anyone else for that matter.

Somehow the subject of paganism and folklore was always shied away from by modern folks and Larimar's only confidante was seven hours away in Gloucester. She'd had another late-night conversation with Tamara last night about her visions increasing but she never let on about him. Somehow spirit lovers seemed a little weird so she was just happy right now to keep it to herself.

She breathed a contented sigh as she watched the waves lap around the boardwalk where the Chai House welcomed in visitors to the little seaport town of Rockaway Pointe.

Billy finished a round of laps at the gym as he could feel the eyes on him again. It seemed that Lauren Brisbane was always watching him and in an uncomfortable way. Of course, Billy was a man by many standards of male perfection but he hid it well under a humble and gentle demeanor that belied the hunger he often felt for that one woman he had yet to find.

It was always her in his dreams at night that kept him wondering. Who was this literal dream girl that came into his night's slumber and got him all shook up? He had never seen anyone like her in real life.

Lauren Brisbane was indeed watching Billy but not for the reasons he thought. He looked so familiar to her that every time he came into the gym she had to stop what she was doing just to take it all in. She certainly had never slept with him before she thought. She would have, through the clouds of drunken perception, remembered that form.

Long dark hair falling over hunky muscular arms and ghostly eyes that she could never tell were looking at her or through her. No, she would have remembered all that, jaded or not.

Larimar brushed her hair out of her eyes as the wind picked up and she could tell a storm was rolling in. The dark clouds over the inlet of the pointe looked a little angrier today than usual and Larimar could tell that soon it would be time to put the storm shutters up on the tea house.

She almost wondered if this Autumn was going to be the one. The one where she finally found out who this Spirit Lover was. She just had a strong feeling that he was real and really out there.

But where? She couldn't have known that she thought. There was a big wide world out there and this mystery needed a few more clues before it might be close to being solved.

But oh how she longed to know. Were those eyes all they seemed to be. And who lay beyond the kind and gentle feeling that always arose in her heart when they connected. That and the passion. She couldn't deny the heat she felt when he was in her mind.

But all thoughts of dream men faded in the wind as her cell rang and she saw Rowan's name come up.

Better to stick with real men and she certainly had one of those she admitted almost guiltily to herself as she pressed to accept the call.

Love, I have just what you need tonight, Rowan's voice came over the line with its slick sexuality and noble Norse accent. She couldn't deny that made her weak in the knees every time

Rowan, hi, she managed to say her throat dry from the wind which was really picking up now. Dare I ask? she said somewhat timidly.

Often Rowan had these intricate surprises he created for her and they usually ended with candlelight and lovemaking somewhere mysterious.
