About this ebook

The last thing I expected this Thanksgiving was to meet an alien prince.

Because I have no life and no friends, I'm working a shift at the convenience store on Thanksgiving. I expect the day to be completely uneventful.

Then a freaking UFO lands in the parking lot.

Sani is a 7-foot-tall green man with 12-pack abs, and he's a prince from the planet Eler. Even crazier? He is in search of a mate because he needs to repopulate his kingdom.

And he wants me to be his mate...

***Get ready for Thanksgiving with this sweet and sexy short story containing cavity-inducing instalove, a baffled heroine, a well-equipped alien prince, and a HEA! Excerpt:

My eyes almost leap out of my head when Sani casually lies next to me. “Oh, are we sleeping together?” I ask.
Surprised, he asks, “Does that make you uncomfortable? Should I sleep on the floor?”
Willing myself to sound as cool as a cucumber, I say, “I’m fine.”
He looks unconvinced. “I don’t mind sleeping on the floor. I’ve slept on more uncomfortable surfaces.”
I shake my head. “I’m fine,” I say again, though having Sani’s tall and muscular body so close to mine is causing my heart to race.
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure,” I say, though I’m totally not.
He nods. “Okay.”
For the next few minutes, we lie in silence. I try to go to sleep, but my every cell is so aware of Sani. I can feel his warmth and smell his scent, which is sweet and spicy. I wonder if it’s his natural scent or a cologne. Do people on his planet wear cologne? I watch him out of the corner of my eye. The more I look at him, the more handsome I find him.
“Can’t sleep?” he asks.
“Are you considered attractive on your planet?” I blurt out. Oh, for the love of God, why did I ask that?
Luckily, he doesn’t seem offended by my question. “I guess so.” Then he asks me, “How about you?”
“I’m pretty average.” I’m not ugly, but I’m not beautiful. On my best days, I might be called pretty cute.
“Really? I would’ve thought you were well above average.”
I suppress a giggle. If a human guy told me that my looks were “well above average,” I would’ve been like, “What the f**k?” But for some reason, when Sani tells me that, joy warms my insides. “Thank you.”
“Do you find me attractive?”
I stare at him, at all of his defined lines, smooth green skin, all-violet eyes, full dark blue lips. “Yes,” I say, my voice barely above a whisper.
He strokes my cheek. “Do you mind if I kiss you?”
I breathe, “I don’t mind.”

When I manage to tear myself away from taking Buzzfeed quizzes and watching unhealthy amounts of TV, I write romance and smut. My works feature alpha males, sexy times, and/or my sarcastic sense of humor. I hail from Cleveland, aka the best freaking city in the world, and believe LeBron James is the perfect human being. Despite all of my efforts, I have never truly been able to quit caffeine. My problematic favorites include Taylor Swift and Gone with the Wind. I love to hate/hate to love k-dramas. If I say I’m on a diet, I’m just lying to you and myself. One of these days, I'm going to get hypertension from an excess of salt, both literal and figurative. If I'm awkward around you, I probably don't know what to say to you and/or I think you're hot. And despite what anyone says, Forrest Gump so deserved that Oscar over Pulp Fiction.

    An Alien Prince for Thanksgiving

Isigh as I stand in the convenience store on Thanksgiving. Because all of my coworkers had plans, I—a sad, lonely orphan—volunteered to work today. Though I don’t know why my boss bothers keeping the store open on Thanksgiving. No one has come into the store, and I literally mean no one. Oh well. I’m getting holiday pay, and it’s not like there’s anything (or anyone) waiting for me back in my shitty studio apartment.

After I check the parking lot, which is empty, as expected, I start blasting my music and shaking my hips to Dancing with Myself by Billy Idol. I’m singing off-key and jumping around like a maniac when I suddenly see a bright light. What the...? When I look outside, I gasp. Is that a freaking UFO? In any case, it’s a silver flying saucer-shaped object, and it’s definitely not an airplane. I glance suspiciously at my Mountain Dew. Did a disgruntled factory worker lace it with a hallucinogenic drug?

    Hello.

I drop my Mountain Dew as I stare at the 7-foot-tall green man with cropped silver hair. His eyes are completely violet—not a hint of white—and he’s only wearing black pants. Does he have a 12-pack?

Greetings, he says when I have yet to make a sound.

Aliens are real. Aliens are freaking real!!!!

He frowns. Do you not speak English? He begins speaking Mandarin Chinese. When I was a kid, my parents
