The Jar of the Strawberry Jam - Simona Kindaraviciute

    Jam

CHAPTER 1That evening, a bunch of angry autumn leaves were flying in the cold

air. They just wanted to rest on a frosty ground, but the malicious

wind had other ideas. He was laughing out loud, while blowing

everything about. Poor swings were crying and a slide

was screeching, while windows were shaking with terror. A bunch of

leaves flew towards the block of house and suddenly shot

    - But mum! You know, how scared I am to go down that garage.

    - Buggy please, we talked about it many times. We have no rats in the garage. They all went to our neighbors’ Andrew's place, after we put that poison.

    - But why me? - Jenny stomped the foot on the carpet.

    - Jenny, please, I am making your favorite pancakes, can't leave them to burn.

    - Alright, ok, but if I'm not back in five minutes, please send the fire brigade.

    - I will and a helicopter too. Would you please go now?

    - Fine - Jenny giggled and ran out of the apartment. She thought about a helicopter: how cool it would be if a helicopter would land on a roof and everyone could see her with
