INTRODUCTION

When I graduated in 2014 from the university, I was desperate about doing my one-year compulsory national service, as though I was going to mystically unlock wealth from it. It came and pass.

I'm one amongst other privilege young people that saved some money. I saved about ₦70,000 only.

Shortly after I returned home, that saving was soon depleted. I began to hunt for a job. The first job I got as a teacher paid me ₦15,000, with that amount, mehn life was hard.

During that time, I told my students one day, that I will make money from using my mouth. What I actually meant to say to my students was that I would make money from teaching what I know, not teaching from some school's syllabus or curriculum.

Today, am I not a certified public speaker?

In essence, I envisioned the potential in me to teach as an educator, and be known as such not a school teacher. I never regretted picking up that job to teach. 

Let me ask you. Why are you in that job? Are you getting experience or gathering your startup capital? You need to think about that.

This was how I started to learn to become an educator, and then a certified public speaker. I learned to overcome stage fright and all other rudiments of the stage, I learned all that from classroom teaching.

Today, I earn money from educating and selling what I know.

How did I do that? This is what I intend to teach you in this book.

There have been a lot of literature and courses on profiting from passion. A lot of these are really too good to be true.

Doing what you love and earning from it is not as simple as they make it seem.

How do I know this? First, we need to be clear about what they mean by love what I love to do.

What if I’m a foodie?

What if I love to sleep?

What if I don’t get tired of having sex?

Okay then, so how do I earn from these? 

This is one out of the several points where a lot of people get carried away and miss it. The foundation of any discussion about earning from your passion should be ‘what really is passion.’

How did I start earning from my
