The Broom that Sweeps Evil Away.

One Sunday morning in 2018, God put this prayer in my spirit, What do you want me to write on? I perceived God had a book for me to write so I prayed in that line for some days. Some weeks after that, God revealed the title of the book to me: Grace for Political Battles. This is the book in your hands.

I set to work on the book. In the course of writing the book, the Lord gave me a revelation in which He showed me this book as a multitude of brooms. A broom sweeps dirt away. By following the teachings in this book, the evils in the nations and organizations will be swept away. Oppositions to the good of the land will be cleared away and the people of God will live in joy and prosperity.

Introduction

"For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of man" (2 Corinthians 8:21)

If you observe different nations of the world, you will see that so many of them are struggling with various problems. Poverty, wars, terrorism, political upheaval, sicknesses, mental disorder, marital problems, drugs and racism, religious oppression and insecurity top the list of such problems. Many counties suffer these ills at varying degrees. Not only do we have Christians in these places, many Christians have suffered and are suffering as victims in the web of social affliction.

But the Bible says that we are the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13). We are to make things pleasant and hinder decay in the world. That’s what the salt does. The sad truth however, is that we have fallen short in playing this role God gave us. As we fail to do what God wants us to do, we give the room for enemy to operate and cause mismanagement and untold hardship. This is not the first time that believers will fail to act as God commanded.

Before departing this world in the flesh, our lord Jesus Christ commanded the believers, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). The believers did not comply with this. They stayed in Jerusalem instead. Little wonder that persecution arose against them and "Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word" (Acts 8:4). Similarly, the turmoil and problems in the different societies in the world exist partly because Christians are not using all the possible avenues for ‘salting’ the earth.
