Laura Fiorentino
I was born on July 5 in 1973, in Lanus, a southern city of Buenis Aires. Big sister of 5 brothers from a humble and hard-working family of Italians and Poles. I did my studies and when I was a teenager, a blind tragic frame my family forever. It was when I decided to abandon my studies. I always wrote many stories, I even invented them in my head and then I tried to write them, even lad could use them as an excuse for something when I could and with whom I obviously did not know myself. As a grown-up, as an adult, I returned to studies where I left them. It is difficult to want to try everything, now I have a family, my passion for writing, work and my studies resumed. We can do everything with a small effort ..

Kilometros - Laura Fiorentino
Ema was about to get out of the car when she parked in front of her house. A thousand heart beat, I had long longing for this day to come. She did not know if the palpitations were from emotion or because she had to tell the news to Ariel, she could not distinguish it. She finally turned off the car's engine and decided to get off. Crossing the garden she noticed that Ariel had bought a huge Jasmine that she planted near the entrance and thought that a painting in front of the house would do well; now it was quite illuminated and you could already tell that the painting was old, or perhaps she noticed it because she knew that it had been a while since they painted her. Jasmine's distraction caused her to collide with her daughter's bicycle, she was always outside, but that did not make them a problem because where they lived was not a dangerous place where they were forced to lock themselves up and keep things locked up. As he walked he rubbed his thigh to lessen the pain, the blow, surely he would have a bruise. I enter slowly, leaving the keys in a candy box, the rest on the sofa and went to his daughters' room as every night to see what they slept, ajar the door and go to the kitchen. He walks down the hallway that leads to his room and sees his bedroom door open and goes inside; the bed was discarded and the bathroom light on, Ema looks for her husband but Ariel was not inside and turned off the light. the rest on the sofa and went to his daughters room as every night to see what they slept, he closes the door and goes to the kitchen. He always turned off the lights that everyone turned on, or maybe he came to turn them off.
He comes back down the hall, picks up dirty clothes from the floor and throws them into the basket and brings both hands to his chest, compresses it, sighs and continues walking, crosses the room and sees that a glow came from the kitchen. She pushes the swinging door that connects both rooms to the side, she still smelled of food; and there with his back to the dining room was Ariel, Ema put her arms around him from behind and put her head on his back, at the height of the heart.
When Ariel was focused on something Ema liked to surprise him like that and he pretended not to notice, but he enjoyed it too. He supported his breasts on his husband's back, by now Ariel was already turning to answer his head-on, and kissing him intensely. Ema buried her face in his neck and Ariel caressed her head and went slowly down the nape of the neck until she caught her chin and kissed her again.
Lately Ema was late to her house and Ariel was waiting for her for dinner, practically every night since they had decided to move downtown.
- There you are love- Ariel said stroking her cheek - I was waiting for you.
Dinner is on the table. Can you give it to me, love? I am going to heat it in the microwave - Ema turned her head and realized that there was crockery for two and a bottle of wine, she lifts the earthenware platter that was in the center and takes it to her husband. Ariel looked tired, he just kissed her on the forehead after hugging her. She did not give it too much importance, she thought that she had also had a long day.
- Mmm ... vegetable pie! - He saw that some portions were missing- Camila is fascinated by vegetable tart, what I wonder is, how did you manage to get Solcito and Naomi to eat it?
She was sure that if she had been sitting with them at the table, she could never have made her daughters eat her.
- Don't worry love about it, they ate it anyway. Scoop the stuffing out of your portions and toss it with mozzarella cheese and diced sausage bits. - Ema looked at him in amazement. Such a thing would never have occurred to her. - The sausages fell down the sides with the melted mozzarella, they never found out that there was spinach.
There is no other man in the world who looks like him. He is the only one on this earth and he is all mine.
Ema thought as Ariel told her. I was happy.
- I open the bottle of wine? - He said while resting his elbows on the marble island
- I uncovered it earlier, when I was setting the table. You can serve in the glasses if you want and we drink while we wait for the dinner to finish heating if you like. Sit down, I'm going right away. - Cheer up with a pat on the thigh.
She gave him a suspicious look and poured the two glasses halfway, bringing his to the edge of the counter and brought it to her mouth, savoring each sip. Ariel walked over to where she was sitting and kissed her as she passed on the top of her head. He settled himself on the table in front of her. Ema followed him with her eyes.
Ariel stopped eating and took a sip of wine to lower the food.
He leaned back and raised an eyebrow.
She closed her eyes. One, two, three ... She counted ... deep breath ...
The silence deepened even more in the environment, she looked at her husband expecting something, a word, a gesture, anything that gave him indications of something. Nothing.
There was, in front of her, the Ariel she knew and loved, both sides of the same coin. Arms crossed, eyes narrowed, muscles twitching on either side of the jaw.
Ema felt that she had been studying the lyrics of a script because she had already had almost the same conversation with Facundo that morning.
Ariel was frowning and was snorting through her nose, pursing her lips.
Ariel had already sat down again, resting her elbows on the table, her head down and her forearm muscles tense. As if preparing to deliver bad news. He nodded without raising his head.
Ema said nothing, just waited.
Ariel discussions usually disoriented her. They were leveling up and mutating until they became dangerous without her even noticing. In general, it was Ariel who ended the conversation and almost always left her with the word in her mouth in full discussion, and she stood there without even noticing that her husband had already left.
Ema still did not consider calling what had just happened a discussion. Ariel was not looking up yet. She waited.
He jerked away from the table.
He said it in a disinterested tone. Perhaps it could happen that he truly understood and had finally been happy for her.
Ariel turned on the tap to let the water run, when she was going to wash, she turned it off again and instead took the bottle of wine and filled the glass. Then I put it on the table.
Ema pressed her lips together, inhaled air, and released them.
Ema didn't know how to take it all. He took her hand and pointed to the empty
