About this ebook

When My Mind Wanders is a collection of writings from the blog "A Rabbit's Stories". The collection ranges from a sort of self-portrait painted with words to the idea that hope exists as surely as the moon. Each piece is unique and none of them were originally written to follow into each other, but in an attempt for the author to give the world a glimpse into her imaginations and thoughts, she has given them new meaning. So, journey through the mind of this author, but be careful not to get lost between the vignettes and transitory worlds.

They have been organized to flow into each other, though they were not originally written in that manner.

Please note that all writings are fiction and any resemblance to any real person, place, or event is purely coincidental. Thank you for reading and I hope you find the writings enjoyable, entertaining, and thought provoking.

A young woman walks barefoot across a large canvas tarp. She is holding above her head a comically large paintbrush full of different color paints. Random colors drop from the bristles as she walks, leaving large blots behind her.

She puts her paintbrush down and drags it around her to create a circle of red, blue, purple, orange and brown.

She picks up the brush and walks back through the paint. She then places the brush head on the spot where she had stood, dragging it towards her. When she walks backwards, she stumbles and falls to the ground.

Paint falls on her and the canvas. The colors spot her white clothes. When she
