London, England, October 17th, 2021 - It’s a chilly afternoon in the leafy suburbs of London, and it’s quiet. Too quiet. There isn’t a soul around, nor has there been for the better part of three weeks now. The last news reports that came out, when there were still services up and available that is, was of total annihilation.
There is a bloated body lying in the front garden of a two-story terrace that reads 46 Ludley Lane in gold numbers. It’s lying facedown on the grass. And it’s been there for awhile as indicated by the swarm of flies that surround it and bombard it, and the maggots that gnaw away at its decomposed flesh.
