    Being diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome can be daunting and unexpected. Many people have never heard of the blood/ bone marrow disorder MDS. I have written this short MDS book to help you quickly understand some of the jargon and medical issues relating to Myelodysplastic syndromes. This book will cover diagnosis, symptoms, treatments and more.

    There is also a section which covers how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and understanding a person's limitations when living with MDS. The effects of common symptoms of anaemia, low blood cell counts (white blood cell types and red blood cells) and low platelets and how to counter their effects with growth factors and blood transfusions.

    Ideal for MDS sufferers and their caregivers / family. Also included are references to sites that you may find useful.
