About the Author
FOREWARD
So I told my cousin that I was going to write a book.
Really?
he said. What kind of book?
Poetry, commentary, and possibly some illustration - certainly an eccentric piece,
I replied.
Well,
he said, his tone betraying his disdain, "you’re certainly not going to make any money with that."
IAMBIC PENTAMETER
Iambic pentameter - it simply won’t do.
Untainted,
Unchained,
Are my words to you.
GAS STATION ROSE
Who could ever shy away
From a feeling felt so true
As inspired as to say
A little plastic love you?
Sentiments so deeply felt,
Proclaimed for all
